Least busy time?

Just thinking forward to the future when is it least busy if I wanted to go for 3-4 days?

I would be going with young kids.

We go yearly to WDW but I want to plan on take the kids in the next couple years to DL. We likely will then not be back for another decade or more.

This wouldn't be for another year or two after covid calms down hopefully.

It is utterly impossible to predict anymore. No one knows what the post covid world of Disney will look like.

Pre-covid, your best bets for quieter times were September (after schools are back in session, after the holiday, yet before fall breaks in October) or January/February avoiding the holiday weekends and avoiding any mid-winter breaks which tend to be around the holiday weekends. The trade off is the hours tended to be short, like 9-9 at DL and 10-8 at DCA, with no nighttime entertainment except Fri, Sat, Sun (which was true most of the year.) But the PP is correct, who knows what it will be like post-covid.
