Every one take your places please (introductions):

ME, (her), DW: I absolutley love disney! Disney addict! I also love scrapbooking, and spending time with my two crazy kiddo's & hubby!

DH, (him): Love's disney as much or more than the kids but doesn't like to admit it.

The Squirell, DD (9 @ time of our trip): Hate's her nick name "squirell" but we still call her that! A little background on her name (My mom told DH when she was born "You can't call her sam your have to call her Samantha!" To which DH replied "I can call her squirell if I want to" thus the nick name! And she has been called that ever since. Small insight into our family and my DH stubborness.) Squirell loves Disney as much as her mommy!

The boy, DS (6 @ time of this trip): A huge roller coaster fan! Will go on any thing he is tall enough to ride! :scared1: Know's no fear except the dark but, he would never admit it. Loves any thing fast with big drops & Goofy! (He is a lot like goofy actually!)

O.K. So, this trip report is really late, by about 1 year! The reason we decided to write this is because we are planning our next trip to DW in Sept. :woohoo:  and we thought it would be a great way to remember all the wonderfull experiences we had (like we would forget:rotfl2: ) Also, to remember all the mistakes we made. So, hopefully we can avoid some of those problems on this trip! Any how, I hope you all enjoy our TR! It will be a he said/ she said kind of thing! We have read a TR like this before and thought it was great! Oh yah, this will give us practice for writing our next trippie too! We are newbies so forgive us if we make mistakes!!

Getting Started:

Her - Much planning went into bringing up the topic of DW to DH! :rolleyes1 You see we had already been on two amazing vacations to DL in the last 3 years! How ever, I really, really, really, wanted to go to DW because none of us had ever been! So, I checked prices and re-checked untill I found a winner!:woohoo: I knew DH would be in as soon as I explained a few minor details!;) I was hooked and ready to go! Now time to convince DH!

Him - She said "Let's go to DW!" I said "NO!!!" She said "It's a great deal" I said "o.k. fine, let me see it." Then I said "What about DL, it's gotta be cheaper. It's closer and I was not looking forward to a 10 hour flight from Idaho." She said "It's actually cheaper to go to DW!" and I was hooked.

Her - o.k. so maybe it wasn't exactly cheaper :rolleyes1 but closer to the same price any way!

Details, Details, Details,

Her- Yes, my evil but good intentioned plan worked! Now began all the questions. Where to stay, when to go, dinning no dinning, so my research began & I was over whelmed! To much info and half of it I didn't understand! People were talking in code!:confused3 After much planning we came up with our master plan. 8 nights @ POP with dinning, and pkhopper & more option. Our flight was to leave @ 8:09 a.m. and arrive @ 5:30 p.m. The plan was in motion and every one was excited! Now the waiting, and more research!

Him- Dinning Plan what? "No" DL food stinks! Why would we pay all that money for crappy food. (In my defense I was oblivious to the quality & quanity of DWorld food!) So, after DW showing me the options & talking to some family members who have been there several times. We decided to give it a try. (I still wasn't completley convinced.)

After much planning & anxiety the day finally arrives!
So, Off we go to Never Land!!!!!!!!!
May 1st 2007-

Her- Up before the crack of dawn! I am not a morning person as my beautiful family will attest to, and I was too excited to sleep! So, I got a total of about 2 hrs of sleep filled with night mares about all sorts of different horrible things that could happen or I forgot to pack or no tickets when we get there or "Sorry ma'm we don't see your name here" type of scenario's! Any how I was running on adrenaline, excitement, & caffine! (Great combo!:lmao: )

Him- and nicotine:smokin: , I know it's terrible she says she'll stop!

Her- :rolleyes1

Him- I was in charge of loading the luggage. I think she packed the entire house.

Her- so this was our morning, get ready, wake up kids & DH. (wasn't to hard, they were all excited) Load car with all our stuff! We drive to PP & GM's. Unload car, re-load GM's car. (DH was very good at this, although he loved Magicla Express!!!) GM drops us off at airport (we don't have to pay for parking, HeeHee!) and wishes us a great trip & want's to sneak in our suitcase! (Sorry, GM suitcases are stuffed!) Then we begin our 10 hour journey to DWorld! :headache: (yes folks, Idaho is very far away from Florida!) Actually they plane ride was fine! No troubles here.

Him- Duct tape on the wing of your air plane does not inspire much confidence! :scared: (Seriously, I am not kidding. They actually put duct tape across the wing of our plane.) No worries though, it was gone when we landed!

Her- We finally arrive at MCO excitement building. We rush to ME and are lucky enough to have a bus ready & waiting to take us to POP! Check in was great! We got our 1st time visitor buttons and the kids were thrilled! :cool1: (It's so funny to me how such a silly little thing like a button can thrill them beyond all reason!) Then the CM hands me a stack of info about DWorld! Holly cow, I couldn't believe how much info they gave you! I'm so glad I had done all that research :surfweb: before hand or else I probably would have fainted with the amount of info I was recieving!

Him- Only 6:30, plenty of time to go to MK and suck in some of the MAGIC!!!

Her- We walk into MK for the first time and it was beautiful! (Seriously, I'm not just saying that.) I love DL it will always have a special place in my heart! This was amazing though, the castle was so impressive! I think squirell's heart stopped for a full minute. I just stood there right in the middle of the road like I get so anoyed at other people for doing but, this was incredible we just had to soak it in for a few moments! DS could have cared less.:rolleyes:He just wanted to find his way to the nearest thrill ride. (Yeah mom, that's great now let's go.) seriously what's wrong with boys! :sad2: So, we made our way back to Splash taking in all the sights and sounds of Disney! We were able to jump right on. (No lines:dance3: ) DS found it very convienent that as you exit Splash the entrance to Thunder is right there! We jump on and again No lines!

Him- This park has so much more space and is planned out better than DL IMO. (I still think DL has that little extra touch of magic though!):smickey:

Her- After jumping back and forth countless times (5 at least) and one very magical moment for me! (As we were ridding Thunder Mountain they started the fire works over the castle! It was so beautiful and unexpected. We didn't know the fire works were going to happen that night or every night for that matter. To me it just felt like Disney was celebrating our arrival. We were there in disney with our kids and it was going to be a great vacation!)

Him- About this time DS needs a potty break! This starts the vicious cycle.:lmao: You either laugh or cry! This will become one of the many themes to our trip.

Her- So by this time the caffine is wearing off and the park is closing. Time to get a good nights sleep. I am hoping our bags are in our room. We make our way back to the bus and to our new home for the next 8 nights. We love the way our first evening started. We got back late and were starving. We had a counter service meal at POP. Pretty good, tons of food but, we did our best at eating it. (this was the first thing we had to eat since Chicago airport:scared1: )

Him- Very surprised the food was so good. Became another theme to our trip! (except for Marakesh, more later)

Her- Sleepily found our way back to our room. Yay, our luggage was there! Fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Oh yeah, we all had showers and made sure kids had p.j.'s on. Florida is definatly humid. Comming from dry Idaho it's quite an adjustment!

Him- Vacations are so relaxing, we were only awake for 20 hours!:crazy2:

End of Day 1- Next update comming shortly! Our day in Animal Kingdom!

Wow first day and already I'M exhausted! You have a way with words. Great TR so far! Thanks!popcorn::

Great! Keep it coming! I like how I can read both of your reactions in the same post. :cool1:

I agree with you, writing the TR will help you plan what you want to do and what you want to avoid in September.

Thanks for your comments! Your all very sweet! :cutie: Next installment is comming shortly! If I can figure out how to put in pics, I will do that too!:thumbsup2

A few lessons learned!

Her- Awake early! Tired, but not to bad. We were in DWorld!!!! We had ressies at Restrauntsaurus at 8 before the AK even opened! Get every one ready and head out the door! The kids were super excited to have our first big meal with mickey & all his pal's!

Him- My DW left the business of getting to our charac. brkfst up to me. Since the desk clerk at POP said there was no gaurantee the bus would get us there on time. I decided to call a cab. The cab takes us to the big sign Animal Kingdom and stops. Apparently they didn't let any one in untill 1 hr before the park opens. (the exact time we are supposed to be there for brkfst!) While we are waiting in the line of cars waiting to get into the parking area, we see several Disney busses drive in with no problems. (I vow never to get a cab again. No matter the reason. ) After a little explaining they let us through. Then, we are dropped off in the parking lot. Left to do the "trail of tears death march" to the front gate of AK. So, $20, and much frustration later we get to our breakfast. The food was o.k. (buffet style brkfst) the characters were great!

Her- After this I decide never to give him control of any thing! :lmao: I'm not sure if this is the case in every situation with a cab. We only did it the one time. (once was enough for us) I think maybe the cab driver just didn't know where to go to get through early. Because he got in the line that you would get in if you were going to park at AK! Any how, we made it. No harm no foul. Except the $20 we could have saved by just taking the Disney trans. The character brkfst was a great way to start off our day! Food wasn't my favorite, but I'm one of those "picky" eaters! Yep that's me! Sorry to every one out there that thinks this is freaky, it's just the way I roll!:rotfl: Here are a few pics of us at the brkfst!

P1010123_edited-1-1.jpg

can you tell DS is just a little excited!!

P1010122_edited-1-1.jpg

After brkfst we took some time to take a few pics while waiting for the park to open! (We were done eating and the park still wasn't open!) Here are a couple pics of my cuties!

P1010132-1.jpg

P1010133.jpg

See I told you they were cute!!!

When they finally let us through. We crazily made our way to EE! DS loved it (big surprise) I loved it. DH loved it. DD was screaming to get off the entire time! So, after the first time. We rode AGAIN!! (We are not the type of parents that will allow our children not to ride because they are scared. It's all popular vote! If every body but one wants to, we all have to. For DD this means she has to buck up and do it AGAIN! I know some people will read this and think we are big meanies! Trust me, for DD this policy works well. She wouldn't do any thing at first if we didn't make her try! 99% of the time she ends up loving it!)

Him- After squirell's first time ridding Splash in DL at the age of 6. She declares "That was the funnest thing ever!!" Then we asked her "Do you want to go again?" To which she replies "Not ever!!" :rotfl2: She ended up liking EE just not as much as her brother. (She learned to just close her eyes when the Yeti was comming.)

Her- Next we rode Kali River Rapids. Fun, Fun, Fun! Every one enjoyed this ride! We all were very wet! Our little squirell was soaked! I litterally had to wring the water out of her clothes! People walking buy were getting a little giggle watching me wring out her skort! (It was still on her body. No worries, I didn't derobe my child in a public place) Her tennis shoes did not escape the water either! She got hit by a pretty good sized wave of water! She thought it was great untill she realized she would have to walk around wet untill she dried out. (or so we thought) We spent some time walking the trails & went on the Safari line....Oh, I mean ride! This was our longest wait the entire trip! I think it was a little over an hour. How ever, we all felt that it was well worth it! The animals are just beautiful. So many different kinds of animals I thought my kids would never have the chance to see except in a Zoo! (I know, I know, they basically are in a Zoo at Disney too, but it sure doesn't look or feel any thing like that!) We went on some more trails and enjoyed watching all the beautiful animals. At this point squirell started to complain that her feet hurt. So, I took off her shoes and her feet had turned into prunes! :scared1: They looked like she had been soaking them in warm water for about 3 weeks! This is when we decided it was break time! So, the kids decide they want one more trip down Kali River before we head back to the room for some dryer shoes, & clothing! When we got back to the room squirell removed her prunes from her very wet tennis shoes and changed into flip flops! (again, bad idea!) I do have to give her some credit here. She was awesome about the whole situation. Maybe it's all that Disney magic floating around! If that would have been my feet, I would have been complaining like you never heard!! We did decide the next day to buy her some crocs because flip flops were not meant to walk in all day long and her tennis shoes were still wet! Plus, I wanted her feet to get as much air as possible and not end up in the same boat again! It was only a few hours of being dry and her feet were looking 100% better and she didn't have any touble with them the rest of the trip! :cheer2:

Him- Some where in there we ate lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ. It was excellent! Me & DW shared the ribs, kids had chicken strips. We all had tons of food. I was starting to realize that the dinning plan might actually turn out to be a good deal. After the change of shoes & clothes, we decided Disney was to much fun for rest. (on the first day any way) We headed back to AK for late MH. Now seens how the kids had seen A Bugs Life in DL and we hadn't , we forced them to watch it again. Only problem with that is DS kept telling every one with in ear shot what was going to happen next! Also, the squirell hates grasshoppers. She is deathly afraid of grasshoppers! Ever since she watched the movie she freaks if there is a grasshopper within 2 feet of her. (Yes, we are that cruel!)

Her- Man it sounds like the worst day of squirell's life. I promise she was having a ton of fun. (even if she was scared at times.)

Him- Enjoyed the Lion King show & Tree of Life. We did pretty much every thing on our to do list. Then we headed to EE one more time!

Her- WARNING: Up next another transportation issue!:sad2:

Him- I thought it would be quicker to grab the first bus we saw instead of waiting for our POP bus to take us back to the hotel, then to DtD. The first bus we saw happened to be the Port Orleans bus. We caught that bus and went to that hotel to catch our bus to DtD. Now, this seemed like a good plan at the time. How ever, I forgot that DWorld is freaking huge. This might have worked out fine if, the busses were running on time, but for some reason that night we waited at a Port Orleans bus stop for almost an hour for the DtD bus to arrive! :headache:

Her- By this late in the evening, I believe it was getting close to 7:30. The kids were starving! And as every parent knows, when you have hungry kids, you have grouchy kids! We did eventually arrive in DtD and had some yummy food at Wolf Gang Puck Express! We all thought this was a delicous meal! And we realized that sharing your food is a great idea, because we each had about half of our food left and hadn't even touched the dessert! We packed up our desserts for brkfst the next morning. (nutricious, I know!) We wandered around DtD disney for a while then made our way back to the hotel with out any problems. Once again every one had showers and to bed we went. I was a very tired mama!!!!!

Up Next: Our 1st full day at Magic Kingdom!!

You definitly have a way with words!!! Thanks for the update can't wait to read more! Your kids are adorable!!

Her- Why is it when your in DWorld you close your eyes for what seems like 2 minutes and then Stitch is calling to wake you up. (I think there is like some kind of wierd time warp down there, seriously people) We woke up early for EMH @ MK. Got ready! We all were wearing our matching BSU (Boise State University) shirts for this day! Blue for DH & I, bright orange for DD & DS! Yes we were so attractive, but very festive! We had a lot of people comment on our shirts throughout the day. It was actually a lot of fun to wear them.

Him- Ran down to the POP counter service and got doughnuts for breakfast (great use of the snack I think) Not nutricious but delicious! Frozen coke in the morning goes great with doughnuts by the way. The kids had hot cocoa. So we were wired and ready to go.

Her- Yes, my DH is crazy! After our delicous brkfst we ran to the bus stop and waited only a few minutes to hop on. It didn't take to long and we were walking through the gates again. We took a few mandatory pics in front of the train station and also, in front of the castle then headed toward Tommorowland!

P1010234.jpg

Him- We got fast passes for Space then rode Indy Speedway. Next up was Space Mnt. with out fast pass (no need) We loved EMH! Then used our FP on space to ride again. Kids loved this ride. (o.k. all of us loved this ride) Even though it's not as good as DL IMO, it was neat for the kids to see the old version. Next was Stitch's great escape. Not my favorite. Then we were off to Buzz.

Her- As we were waiting in line for Buzz. We noticed a little commotion ahead of us and we seen a lady in a white vest handing some thing out to people. I was wondering what this was. Could it be a dream team member? I had heard about the prizes, but didn't know how it worked. So as we are getting closer to lady in the vest they stop us in our tracks.

Him- I couldn't believe it. A CM stopped the line right before we got to the lady in the vest! I was crestfallen. I never expected to get anything from the YOMD, but we were so close and all these people in the FP line were getting to go in front of us. Then the CM explained that all the people that were going in front of us were in training and wouldn't be stealing our prize! It was only a magical fastpass, but it made our entire day more magical.

Her- Holy Cow!!!!! :woohoo: I couldn't believe we had actually won something. We were all so excited and appriciative. Only our 2nd full day there and we had already recieved a dream FP! So, after we rode Buzz we met stitch. Next up was Fantasyland with our cool FP's hanging around our necks! (yep people were jelous you could tell!) :rotfl:

P1010239.jpg

if you look close you can see the magic FP hanging around the kids necks!

Him- Did most of Fantasyland that morning. We ate some grub at Pinnochio's Village Haus. It was better than average. (again to my surprise) Then we went to Frontierland and back to our favorites. Splash & Thunder. We were just getting on Splash Mnt. when DS said "Daddy I have to go potty." I mean we were in the log and it was moving. So, I said "Your outta luck pal" When we got off I rushed him to the bathroom then onto Thunder.

Her- Spent the rest of our day riding rides and just plain having fun! I honestly can't remember to many specific details about what rides we went on later in the day. I know that we were pretty bummed that swiss family treehouse wasn't open. We enjoyed some mickey ice cream bars! (yummy!) We also got to see part of the YOMD show in front of the castle. It was O.K., not one of the best I've seen at Disney!

Him- We met some very friendly people from Georgia at the Haunted Mansion and they joked around with us about the bulldogs wipping up on the Bronco's two years ago. Then, all they talked about was the Fiesta Bowl. So, I liked them.

Her- The kids wanted to check out Toontown. So, we took them over there and the line for the Barnstormer was huge. (no YOMD fast pass for this one) So, we decided I would walk over to Splash and get us some FP's while DH took the kids. So, I (being a DLand person) was thinking it would only be a small jaunt over there. WRONG!!!!! It took me FOREVERRRR!!!Well you see, the parade was starting right as I was making my way over there. I was racing the parade and the crowds to get there, get my fastpasses and get back through before the masses of people started heading every wich way.
Luckily, I made it through before the parade was over. It still took me for ever.

Him- The reason she wanted to go get the FP's. You see there's this little smoking section along the way, and she thought she would have time for a quick smoke break. So I don't feel sorry for her at all! The Barnstormer was not the kids favorite either, but the squirell and I had a laugh when they gave us our "First Rollercoaster Ride" stickers. She thought this was really funny.:rotfl2:

Her- O.K. So maybe I was being a little selfish, but trust me, I was much happier when I got back! We had dinner ressie's at the Crystal Palace at 7:30. We arrived promptly 15 min. early. Waited just a little while and our table was ready. We had a pretty good meal here. It was buffet style, the character's were great. (Pooh & friends) They spent a good amount of time with the kids. I think when the kids were younger they would have enjoyed it more. (Not so much into Pooh anymore)

P1010289.jpg

After our dinner we went back and enjoyed our FP's for Splash then rode Thunder again!!!!!!!!!!!! Now up to this point, about every time we got in a line for a ride DS would say he had to go to the bathroom! We were catching on by this point and would ask him before we got into a line if he had to go. Usually he would say yes. I'm not sure if it was the excitement of Disney or the fact that he was drinking so much water or what, but I do know that boy had to pee and often. Now, DH was in charge of taking him to the bathroom because well, they are both boys. Duh! Any how, we go to get in line for Thunder and we ask him "Do you need to go potty?" He says "nope, I'm good I just went a little bit ago." Wich indeed he had. O.k. fine, so we get in line. Now, as we are about to get on he is dancing. (I don't mean the boogie woogie) The kind of dancing your child of 6 will do if he/she needs to go. He doesn't say anything though so, we get on the ride. They lock the bars, we start to pull out, and what do we hear. "Daddy I really gotta go potty!" I look back to see that he is now holding him self, squirming in his seat, and has that look of panic on his face. I'm thinking (OH NO! He is going to wet his pant's on this ride.) How ever, DH is already calmly explaining to him that there is no way to get off, or stop the ride. So he is going to have to hold it. The whole ride I was wondering if he had wet his pants or not. By the time the ride is over, I look back at DS & DH and I knew some thing had happened. DH mouths to me "It's O.K." Then, rushes DS to the bathroom. When DH & DS exit the restroom, I get the details. He did in fact wet a little. It wasn't like he just totally wet his short's all over the ride. He just dribbled in his underwear a bit. So they took care of him in the bathroom. Let's just say he was "going commando" :sad2: the rest of the evening. He has never had problems with this so I didn't have any thing for him to change into.

Him- I wont go into many details either but lets just say that we had a little chat and he promised he would go potty before every ride or at least try. I also told him not to worry about little accidents because it has probably happened to just about everyone at one time or another. So crisis managed.

Her- We decided not to watch the Wishes show this night and catch it later. So after we had used all our magical FP's for the day. We went back to the room a little early. (for us this means we didn't close down the park)

Him- We got back to the room late as always. Since my darling wife didnt order the fridge with the room we had nothing to cool down our pop with.
You see I am one of those people who would drink Coke all day long and I have to have one before bed so I can sleep. Sounds weird but it works for me. I also drink one first thing in the morning to wake up. (weird I know):drinking: So to keep my morning pop cold I made a redneck cooler in the sink.(plug the drain and fill it full of ice insert drink)

Her- After our fun filled magical day at MK. We showered, got ready for bed and once again hubby turned on the T.V. to find the show about DWorld's top 10 things. By the end of the trip I was ready to shoot that lady in the head. :lmao: (No offense to the lady I'm sure she is really nice, but after hearing it 50 billion times I was about to loose my mind) Then sleep......Oh how I love my sleep!

Up Next: Our first day ever at Epcot!

Subbing! And wow you guys cover stuff so much quicker than us! I think I am going to have to beat HE to get to writing. And the Frozen Cokes are the PERFECT breakfast drink. ::Nods:: They really are! I loved them.

-Becca-

I love your story of how your daughter got her nickname! My nickname (Nooshkin) grew out of a practical joke my Grandmother played on me when I was about 6 - and now I'm 42 and still being called Nooshkin! So hopefully she's growing to love her inner Squirrel since it may be with her for a long time!

Can't wait to read more, too!

:goodvibes y'all went on all our favorite rides! Love Love Love Haunted Mansion and Splash. My daughter was 8 the first time we rode it...we happen to get the very first seat for the very first time and well, scared the behgeezes out of her and she refuses to go back on!!!:headache: Yet she will ride Space 16 billion times! Our last trip in 06 we were on Big Thunder right before park closing, no one was in line, we finished the ride and my husband and i yelled out "one more again!" everyone cheered and they let us go again! Pulled in the station everyone cheering...one more again! So off we went..well after that my tummy said NO MORE AGAIN! and we got off...:lmao:
Can't wait to read about the rest of the trip!:yay:

Maybe you can get her back on the next time you go down to DW! It really is one of the best rides IMO! Maybe you can convince her with a Mickey ice cream bar or some thing! I will have to try the cheering " one more agiain" if we are ever last in line! :thumbsup2 I think that's great! It's the little things like that. That make a Disney trip so special! Thanks again for reading!

Her- sorry to anyone who was reading this before. We have been super busy. Hopefully it won't be another month before the next update. End of school, baseball, life, ya know just busy! Anyhow, we promise to update more often. If there is anyone out there that's reading, please let us know.

So, now to start our first time to Epcot. We woke up early, took the Disney bus over to Epcot. I believe we got there a little after opening. For some reason this morning is a little fuzzy to me. (it's been a year people)

Him- I'm sure we had more hot chocolate and frozen coke for breakfast at the hotel. Oh yeah and doughnuts. (Mmmmmmmmmmm chocolate doughnuts)

Her- We were all supper impressed with the big giant ball. We sang and skipped our way through the leave a legacy area to "We're following the leader" from Peter Pan! They had a huge topiary of the pirate ship by the front entrance. So, of course they were playing the music to go along with it.

I certainly hope ya'll understand why I was wearing that stupid hat! It's funny how you think you look o.k. untill you get home and look at your pics! Oh well, here we all are!

P1010293.jpg

Him - Yeah, I don't skip even in disney. I did sing though. My only complaint about Epcot is the bus station. Could they put it further away? (o.k. complaining over) the kids and I really wanted to ride Test Track so, we beat feet to the Fast Pass kiosk. Got our fast passes then hopped in line cuz it was only a 10 min. wait. DS really loved the freezy part and the fast part.

Her - Over all Test Track turned out to be one of the kids absolute favorite rides ever! Whe then went and rode Mission Space (the not so easy side). I had a bad feeling about this ride, not for me, but I know how DH hates to spin and squirell always gets super nervous on something she's never done before.

Him- O.K. I am not what you would call slender. I admit I could lose a few pounds and I am working on it. This ride dosent care that I am trying to loose weight. This ride could care less if I am only going on it because I have to follow the rules.(We vote and if the majority want to ride we all have to ride) So I rode, and pert ner bout died.

Her- This ride was hilarious, not only was I trying to calm down the squirell, but I was worried about DH all the while DS was completly convinced we were actually on MARS!!! (He would have rode it ten more times if we would have let him) When we got off the ride he kept on asking if we really went to Mars. So, what could I say? I just asked him "well do you think we really went to Mars?" He thought about it for a second took a look at DH's face and then said "Yes!!! We really did! We really went to Mars!" He talked about this for ever. He still does. I'm not sure if was the ride, DH and squirell's reaction to the ride or the combination of the both of them that made him believe. But, nobody can tell him that we didn't actually go to Mars. I love the fact that he still "believes"!

Him- After this ride I put in veto powers on the voting thing. If daddy dont want to ride daddy dont ride. Call me a hypocrite if you want but a dead daddy dont do nobody any good.:faint: After that ride they do have a cool dump zone so we did that for awhile but I was pretty fuzzy and dont remember much.

Her- So because dh was feeling a little woozy we decided to walk around and look at stuff until our lunch at Akershus with the princesses. We checked in and a few minutes later our name was called. For some reason this was one of the most crowded lines outside of a resteraunt our entire trip. But we were smart and had ADR's.

Him- I was almost ready to beleive that I would live a little longer then it was time for appetizers. I dont know how others might like the food here but me and the kids not so much. I am trying very hard to be nice and polite but I am never ever eating lunch or dinner there again. Cold fish and cheese is not for me. The waitress and the princess were great however so it wasn't a total loss.

Her- I think the food wasn't necesarily bad, it just wasnt to our taste. Soooo, the princesses were really nice. DS fell in love with Jasmine and thought the others were o.k. too. DH also didnt mind looking at the Princesses either. He was trying to act like he wasnt watching but I seen him checking them out. The squirell was just loving it! She has loved Cinderella from birth I think. She also really liked Belle. I think she is just so impressed that they talk to her. Even at 9 she still gets a little star stuck. Oh, what am I talking about? Don't we all get star struck!

Here are a few pics of the kiddo's with the princesses!

Him- :rolleyes1 I may have noticed some people walking up to our table and hugging the kids. So of course I had to make sure they werent axe murders or something. They turned out to be very nice young ladies with wonderful smiles and great personalities. Honest I only noticed their smiles..

Her- Now that he's done making excuses, I will tell you about the next part of our journey. WE went back to the room!!! Fast spinney ride+not so great food= break time. We all took a lay down in the room. Dh took a sit down in the lavatory. EEEWWWW you folks wanted details right? So after a couple of hours it was time for some more Epcot. Well, for some of us!

Him- I really didn't feel good and I didn't want to ruin everybody's day so I told DW to go ahead without me. I still didn't know if I was gonna die or not but I felt like part of me already did.

Her- O.K. if anybody is still reading now after that grossness. I rounded up the troops and headed out. We made it to Epcot in no time and again skipped and sang our way by the crazy big ball. We weren't really sure what we wanted to do so we headed over to the Land pavallion. When we were almost there I got a call from DH saying he was feeling better and was hopping on the bus to come meet us. So we did some store browsing until he caught up to us in about twenty minutes. He was looking much much better. Most of the color had returned to his face!

Him- I decided to man up and bite the bullet put my own health aside and go be there for the kids. Plus, we were in DisneyWorld and I love that crazy place. They were barely out the door and I was splashing water on my face and changing my clothes to go catch up with them. I must have caught the very next bus after theirs and was there in a flash.

Her- So family reunited we went and rode test track and then went to dinner. I had made ADR's for Marrakesh (we were being brave and trying new types of food). The belly dancer was really cool, the end.

Him- Yeah she dosen't get to pick the resteraunts any more. The food was o.k. just not my cup of tea if you know what i mean. The place was really crowded and noisey and the waiters were not very attentive either. The kids really liked the belly dancer though, I didn't even see her.:rolleyes1

Her- HE is such a liar!!!! Anyhow after our dinner we headed out into the world showcase and just looked around at all the different countries. The buildings where beautiful and I love all the detail Disney puts into each one of the countries. We headed out to find our wristbands for EMH's and were looking for a good spot to watch Illuminations from.

Him- Did you know that from Morroco to Mexico is a very very long hike, especially if you go by way of China. We made it over there lickity split and then really started scurrying to find a place to watch the show. I had no idea what Illuminations was, or where to watch them from. So we finally settled on China because we could get close to the lake there. We were sitting on the sidewalk just one row back of this lady who was watching with her two older kids. Then just as it started she turned to us and said "Move your kids up here in front of mine, their bigger and have already seen this before anyways." I pert ner bout died again but this time in a good way. We were in Disneyland the year before and people there will stand right in front or on you to see anything that might be happening. I was not prepared for the kindness shown by nearly everyone in DisneyWorld after going to Disneyland several times. I thanked the wonderful lady and politely told her that was o.k. but she was there first and she didn't need to do that. She wouldn't be denied and I have learned not to argue with women who aren't my wife so the kids got a great view.

Her-That lady was the sweetest!!!! I felt really bad for her kids, but they could see just fine over our two little ones heads. They were really sweet about the whole thing and we had a wonderful little chat while we waited for the show. Illuminations was great just not my favorite show at Disney.

Him- After the show we headed over to the seas and rode Nemo and did turtle talk with crush. Liked Nemo, but Crush shouldn't have a New York accent IMHO. :lmao:

Her- Crush was hilarious!!!! He started talking and DH and I, just looked at each other and started laughing!!! Crush defintley wasn't from the west coast DUDE!!! The kids even said "Crush sounds really funny Mom." This is when I start to notice our childrens aversion to being chosen to particapate in anything. The squirell was just way to nervous and I think the boy was just a little clueless. The seagulls in front of the Sea are hilarous!! (MINE MINE MINE) to funny.

Him- She's easily amused, they were pretty funny though. That pretty much ended our day in Epcot. No Soarin and no land, and not so great food. I have to say now that Epcot is my second favorite park but I wouldn't have said it then.

Her- He's forgeting our glorious bus ride back home! Pack em in like sardines folks. I seriously think those drivers are paid by the pound. Then sweet sleep!

Next up: The Terror that never stops!!!! We take on MGM!

I'm still here! I almost busted a gut when i read:
