Learn to draw/art at Disney: where?

Going to WDW in early January (before the Epcot festival, sadly) and our 10 year old loves to draw & paint. Note: she's really quite good. I know all parents think this

What are opportunities for her to make art at Disney? Has anyone done the Animation Experience at AK?

We used to do it when it was at DHS before it was reborn at AK. It's fun and does have an element about the strategy behind drawing whichever character they are doing. Definitely fun and educational as well. Plus a great souvenir.

I think their is an Art Store in Disney Springs that sells art supplies and might still offer a scarf making class.
Also the DVC Resorts have some Community Halls that offer many different projects.
And some of the Resorts have specific afternoon activities to sign up for a small fee. You would need to ask for the daily Activities Guides for updated info.
The funnest art project ever for me was the POP Century Tie Dye Class to design a t-shirt or pillowcase ($$)…. It sounds like a messy project so amazing that they can make this simple and not messy !
They have it down to perfection and will make sure you can carry it safely in your suitcase !

We have done the animation experience and it’s a great souvenir and a great time! My daughter loves doing it!

Also the hotels sometimes have tie dye at the pool.

Do you know how often they change characters that are drawn in the class? If you did two classes in one day would it be different or the same characters? Or if you went on two different days during a week would you get two different characters? Thanks!
