Anyone have experience with these systems and which do you prefer? My DD3 1/2 already had the v-tech system that hooks up to the tv which she likes. She plays the games meant for kindergareners so age isn't an issue (my dd13 taught her how to read before her third b-day :woohoo:).

Thanks for the input!

DD got her vtech portable from papa for xmas
I like that its uses the same cartridges as the plug in one at home

so far (when she uses it) she loves it

the games avail are great cause they have well known characters, but they involve learning...its a win win!!

HTH!!:goodvibes

We have them both and DS5 loves them both (had them both since he was 3). I think the leapster sells more games that include a bit more education in them. We have all the games for vsmile but haven't quite opened all of them (mainly 6-8 are still in packages) and he enjoys them.

For the leapster we have Kindergarten and Number Blasters or something where I like those because it is more education all the time. We also have Backyardigans, Dora and Spongebob open, same as vsmile to me. Not open is cars, spiderman and something else).
