My husband and I have pondered getting Leapsters for our 2 sons, ages 4 1/2 and 6. Both have some speech delays, one will be evaluated for autism in the next month or so. Has anyone else found that their child with similar issues likes the Leapster? My oldest tends to repeat phrases he hears on shows and I'm afraid he might start repeating everything he hears on the games, even though they're educational. However, I also thought that the "pen" might help him with his pincer grip. I don't mean for the question to be silly, but I just didn't know if people found the Leapster to be helpful for their special needs child or somewhat of a hindrance.
