Leapster-Black Friday

I was wondering if anyone had gotten a Leapster learning system for Black Friday last year? I'm looking at the explorer for my almost 4 year old, and they are on sale on Amazon.com for 59.00 (regular 69.00). Will they go down even more for Black Friday you think?

ETA: Also, some of the "girly" games (Dora, Tinkerbell) are on sale for between $15-$18. Do you think these will be less also????

I bought one on amazon last year. I'm sorry but cannot remember the price.

I would recommend buying games on eBay. They go for around $10 including shipping.

She is looking for new Leapster Explorer items, not the regular Leapster stuff. Explorer items are new and aren't as inexpensive as Leapster games (the Explorer can only play Didj and Explorer games).

There is a pink explorer if you buy it from Leapfrog.com (since you mentioned girly). Leapfrog also has AWESOME kids headphones. They have the nice foamy ear cushions and a wide adjustable band across the top of the head. Leapfrog does a bundle special if you get the Explorer, up to three games, and an accessory.

I would think anything below $15 is pretty good for an Explorer game. Watch for sales at Toys R Us. I bought a pink Explorer from leapfrog.com for my DD for Christmas. So far I have the Tinker Bell, Toy Story 3, Princesses, Mr. Pencil, and Penguins of Madagascar games and a set of Leaplets, but since I haven't given her the Explorer yet, I can't tell you much about the games. The graphics look WAY better than the regular Leapster 2 though.

If you have a Kohl's charge, then you can get a great deal on one now I bought one for DD the last time around. You can call and have Kohl's pricematch Walmart's price of $59.99 and then tell them you have the 30% code too (saving30)..makes it $41.99..plus they are giving out Kohl's cash for every $50 you spend, so if throw in some other stuff you are good A while back they had a great deal on the games at Toys R Us because TRU had a coupon out and there was a manufactures coupon as well and I think they may have been on sale. Wasn't looking for them then myself, but I'll keep my eyes open for great deals again! DD won't be getting hers till next year so I have time to collect the other stuff

Has anyone tried the Explorer accessory camera yet? DD's b-day is soon and SIL was looking for ideas so I told her to get it. I hope she does, one less thing I need to get for the holidays!

Thanks for the coupon, I just printed a few to keep on me. Every now and then Target has a game for $17 and with the coupon it is $12 (one title will be $17 and the rest are typically 10% off.) A few weeks ago they had Tinkerbell and there was a $5 coupon so I stashed it away for Christmas.

FYI... If Target has a deal save the ad in case they run out, Walmart and Best Buy will price match if you bring in the ad.
