I don't even get the option to see if they have it or not. the web-site says in-store puchase only. And it doesn't give me to option for in-store pick-up. What am I missing here?

You're not missing anything. You have to call a store near you to find out if they have the item in stock as opposed to ordering it online for in-store pickup. The store price is a little higher, $49.99, so the final price is $4.99 after rebates. Still a very good deal. I called three CircuitCity stores near me and all three had them in stock so DH is on his way there to pick one up.

When I called my store, I was told that they had them in stock but I coud not use the rebates. They were showing no rebates available for that product in the store.

DH just got back from Circuit City with the laptop and rebate forms in hand. The rebate forms printed automatically when the purchase was rung up. I'm not sure if all stores are offering the rebates, but ours did.

Just to let you know - I printed out the page that had it for $44.99 and my Circuit City honored that price because it was not available online. My rebate forms printed out after my receipt. If for some reason you don't get a rebate form, you can print one out using their online site.

I ordered it online with an in-store pick up. Haven't made it there to pick it up yet, but I filled out the online rebate form and now just have to send in the required info.

What a great deal, thanks for the post. I went to Circuit City and bought one even though I was told on the phone that they were all sold out. They did have two on the shelf. Like the others, right after my receipt printed out, the two rebates printed off and the store did a price adjustment and took of the extra $5 that I was originally charged. What a deal!

Funny thing about this toy. DD, 2 yr old, wants it from Santa. She calls it "Princesses dot-com". She was carrying around the KMart flyer for weeks. I bought it at KMart before Thanksgiving for $49.99, took it back on Black Friday for price adjustment because it was on sale for $24.99. Today I had DH drive to Circuit City to pick one up. Thankfully he printed out the info from the computer and rang it up for $44.99, now with the rebates it will be FREE.
I already took the first one back to KMart for refund. I cannot wait til Christmas morning to see DDs face.
