Leap Year 2020 Disneyland Anaheim

Does anyone know if Disneyland Anaheim is going to do a 24 hour event for leap year? I remember them doing it one year, I was there, but didn't participate. Now I have an annual pass and am thinking of flying down in the evening and back in the morning. I searched online but couldn't find anything.

I doubt it because the last 24 hour event was a nightmare.

But you never know. They haven’t announced anything yet.

The last leap year was 2016, and they didn't do one. That 24-hour event for the 60th anniversary went pretty bad (park in general was *great*, but they closed the gates because Main Street, USA, was blocked up with people). I think they are hesitant to have a similar experience again.

Paint the nights debut is what made that day horrible since people camped out all day for parade spots.

It was posted somewhere on this board relatively recently that Disney said they would not be doing another 24 hour event this year on Feb. 29th. (Thank goodness!)
