Leap Pad App card - Great Deal!

A few days ago I bought a couple of $25 app cards for DDs Leap Pad, on the box it says they have a bonus app included. Figured it would be for their cheapest apps (7.50) but when I entered the bonus code it gave me a $25 credit

I got my cards on Ebay but on the package it does say that they are a Toys r Us exclusive - so if you see them at TrU grab them! Or if you see them on Ebay it is even better - I paid $40 (including shipping) for the 2 cards that gave me $100 to spend on apps.

OHH!! Awesome!! I will check that out we bought 2 LeapPads for DD4 and DS5 I was hoping to load them with games, apps and a movie before wrapping them and was thinking how expensive it would be! Im looking now

I got DS the TRU bundle, but haven't opened it.... what apps do you recommend?

It came with "Mr. Pencil", and I'm going to get him the Cars 2 cartridge.

When I registered DD's they gave us a couple of free apps - I even got an email thanking me for being one of the first families to sign up and they gave me another app. I want the LP to be all set up for DD when she gets it on Christmas morning - it does take a bit for it to be registered and all that.

I got DD a puzzle game (cartridge). For apps I got her the Cars 2 UltraEbook, Disney Animation Artist, Tangled ebook, Toy Story 3 ebook, Leapschool cooking and LeapSchool animals. I still have some $ left in the account but will wait and see if they release anything else.

You can put a movie on the LeapPad?

You can't put a regular movie but they do have some videos (Discovery Animals and other educational ones) in their app store.

SO you bought 2 $25 cards and they each came with an extra $25...is that right? They were from Toysrus? I will have to see if I can find some of those-awesome deal!!!!

Yep, the packaging says "only at Toys R Us" on the top and near the bottom it has a yellow bubble that says "Bonus App Included".

We got this deal a few weeks ago as well. We thought it would be one of the cheap never played with apps and were surprised that we could pick our own, Between the $25 and the bonus $25 we downloaded several books/activities. We had also bought several apps as well so it is fully loaded and waiting for Christmas.
