This is my roof saga. We live in a 6 year old house. Our roof line is very funky - we basically have 3 roofs and when it rains, all the water meets at one spot. The roof can't handle that much water, so we end up with water in our garage.
We've had a local handyman company come out to fix it. They've come 3 times. Each time, they've worked on a different area, thinking that area was the cause of the problem. The last time they were out was Tuesday. The guy put up some flashing & shingles & some other stuff that I really don't understand.
Today, it's finally raining here and the leak in my garage is worse than ever!
I really don't know what to do at this point. Obviously, the company we've been using has not beind doing what we paid them to do - fix the leak. So, while I don't want to use them again, as obviously they have no clue what they're doing, I *do* want to get something for all the money I've given them! Do I just call them & say "you're fixing this and I'm not giving you another dime!"? Can I do that when they've worked on a different area each time?
I've called our homeowner's insurance & they said they won't cover it. I'm pretty much SOL w/ them unless a tree falls on my house. Nice to know all that money I pay them each month does some good
Here are some pics of my house and the damage in my garage this morning.
Help!!
