Leaky Cauldron & Three Broomsticks

Are both Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks open to everyone for breakfast AND lunch? I thought I had read one of them was only open for people who had purchased a package of some sort.

If they ARE both open for breakfast and lunch, what are the waits like and when's the best time to go? I'm picturing a scenario like BOG at MK where people line up early. Is this the case?

They have been available to everyone. You can only make a breakfast reservation if you have a package.

we were there over labor day weekend, and neither of those restaraunts had a wait.

My opinion -- stick with lunch at least at the three broomsticks. The eggs taste like paper, and it's really expensive. Fish and chips and bangers and mash at the leaky cauldron were both good, not great.

Pretty much everyone is headed to Gringotts so the TMs are going crazy trying to get people to come in for breakfast at LC. We got there late around 8:45 and were abel to easily get a walk up. My husband had the Egg/Mushroom thing and really enjoyed it. I stuck with pancakes and they were fine. We have only done breakfast at both LC and 3B, but they are pretty similar.

No significant waits for either restaurant when we went last week of August for breakfast or lunch. Definitely not like BOG.
