Simple question - which one do you recommend? Haven't eaten at either, but looking for something different at Epcot . . .

Can't say anything about Tutto as we have not eaten there. We hope to maybe try it one day. I like to try it for myself and make a judgement.

Le Chefs was a nice atmosphere, Remi was an added bonus, the onion soup was the best onion soup I have ever had, and we all enjoyed the bread and butter. As for the main courses, they were good but not great. I think I would try a different dish if I went there again. I saw a lot of things I think I would have liked better. I just wanted to try that onion soup I have heard so much about so I did the pick three menu, so I was limited. If your on the dinning plan maybe buy the onion soup oop and get a better meal.

Let us know what you choose!

I JUST got finished making the same decision!

We chose Tutto Italia because...

the menu at Tutto was more appealing, especially the desserts!! Everyone in the family could easily find several things that they would like to eat.
the pics of the restaurant were really nice
the reviews have generally been very positive

we went back and forth between both when making our ADR's for April and chose Tutto over Chefs too. Something for everyone on the menu, hope we made the right choice:woohoo:

I would suggest Chefs! Have been there for lunch twice and it was excellent. It is noisy but the service was great both times. Onion soup very yummy and great deserts. We do Italian often at home so that was not something we considered.

We have eaten at Chefs de France 4 times and always enjoyed our dinner. We ate at Tutto for the first time in August and we loved it. If I had to choose between the two I would pick Chefs but next year we will be doing both.

Chefs de France!!! We have dined there for both lunch and dinner many times and have always had wonderful meals and service. The ambiance is fantatsic and they have Remy on most days except Sunday. :thumbsup2

We have eaten at both. :)
Chefs - Service was very good, food was "meh", our kids meeting Remy was fun..but he is at your table for 1-2 minutes..definately glad we experienced it once, but based on the food, we won't be hurrying back.
Tutto - We have never had a bad meal here. We have eaten here many times and have enjoyed everything. The kids love the mozzarella sticks as an appy and enjoy the pasta. :) We tried Via Napoli in Aug and for the next trip we will probably revisit Tutto for our Italian *fix*.

Hi OP!

We've been to both Tutto and Chef's multiple times, and we prefer Chef's. The food is very good at both, but we would recommend Chef's for several reasons. (OP, I'm not sure if you are traveling with children, but I'll share our experiences in case they are helpful to you!)

First, we enjoy several child-friendly Italian restaurants at home, but it's not as easy to find a child-friendly French restaurant! So we like to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy Chef's with our kids at WDW. We also prefer the atmosphere at Chef's. The windows are large and the interior is light and bright. We've experienced consistently great service at Chef's, and the CMs at Tutto have not been as warm or welcoming towards our children. (When dining at Tutto as an adult before kids, I thought the service was much better.) Finally, one of our three boys is quite a picky eater, and he absolutely loves the mini burgers on the children's menu at Chef's!

We make ADRs for lunch on arrival day for Chef's so that we can meet Remy right away - it's become a new tradition, and so much fun! The CMs handling Remy have been outstanding - so enthusiastic and animated. Each time, Remy spends quite a long time at our table with our boys. They are so excited to see him, and we never feel rushed. We love it!

Good luck with your decision, and have a great trip! :)

We have dined at both with more dining experiences at Chefs, since it's been around a lot longer. Always a good meal at Chefs. Prefer lunch over dinner. Bottom line: look at their menus and pick the one that appeals to you more, since they both provide a solid dining experience.

I think you made the right decision with Tutto!

Chefs used to be our must-do; now it's not even on our list for the next trip. The last 3 meals we've had there just have not been good (two dinners, one lunch). We've had issues with lost reservations, rude staff, food not prepared correctly (burned meat), poor service, you name it. We kept coming back because it was our favorite and we wanted to give it another chance and the benefit of the doubt- not any more, sadly. Very disappointing because this used to be one of our favorites! We might try it again, but it won't be for quite awhile...there's too many great places in WDW!

Tutto on the other hand is great! We ate there just last month and it was one of the best meals of our 9-day trip. We had dinner there- DH had the short ribs and I had the stuffed pork chop, both on recommendation from our server. They were both fabulous! DH and I are both Italian, and these dishes were awesome. We've always had great food and service here. I'm sad because we're not going to Tutto on our next trip because we want to try Via Napoli. I'm still hoping that we can maybe squeeze in Tutto for lunch. ;)

Enjoy!

Never ate at Chefs but TUTTO was excellent
our best meal of the week even over JIKOs.

We ordered: DH & I had the Salmon with Artichokes, Roasted Tomatoes:love:we cleaned our plates and
DS (14 yrs)ordered the White fish fillet, I think it came with some pasta with clams in shell (he ate it all, even the clams).

We had eaten at Tutto in 08 and knew we wanted to eat there again. Plus we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary (we noted on all 7 ADRs)
TUTTOs and Via Naples were the only two restaurants that acknowledged it (they sang a Happy Anniversary Song in Italian) Very Nice!

Also Via Naples was also very good but much more casual than Tutto.
