Ok I've finally made my ps for first night I've never eaten here I have heard of the cheese soup and pretzle bread but maybe what appetizer should we order I know I will definately have a steak preferably Ribeye " insert Homer voice "Ribeye mmmmmmmm Ribeye
Also what is the best Dessert
I have gone to the front and tried the ice wine "Whew Verrrrrrrry Sweeet" :earseek:
Don't need to spend 13$ for glass again But any suggestions would be appreciated

Le Cellier is one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. It sounds like you're on the right track with the cheese soup and a steak. The last time we were there in September, I had a cobbler for dessert that may have been the best dessert I have ever had. I cannot recommend it strongly enough!

my fiance's favorite restaurant is le cellier steakhouse in canada at ws. we always get the canadian bacon cheddar soup, yum, a good glass of wine, they have bread stick assortment, we love the pretzel bread, & normally get filet mignon with the white truffel potatoes or salmon. there food is excellent. we always ask for a table near the fireplace or in the corner. we only had dessert there once, which was a specialty birthday cake i ordered. we've otherwise been to full.

have a great meal & wdw trip!

We have never been able to fit dessert at Le Cellier!

My can't-miss meal is the cheddar cheese soup and the mushroom filet (served with wild mushroom risotto). Soooooooooo good.

Le Cellier is our favorite restaurant!! I have never been able to fit in a desert so I can't help you there.

But we had the most wonderful sautéed scallops for an appetizer the last time we were there! mmmmm! :goodvibes They were so good I will get them next time we go for sure!

They had a Maple Creme Brulee i was rather happy with. The consistency was more pudding than custard like traditional but i really enjoyed it.

My family tried the dessert sampler which had the Sorbet, Maple Creme Brulee, and the Canadian Club cake. All three were fabulous.

Ooh I can't wait to eat there in May, you guys are making me sooo hungry!

How exactly do you pronounce it so I don't sound dumb when I make my PS- is it French with the R being silent?

Le Cell Yay ....all at once! We had to ask too! :flower:

Half the time when we called for our PS's, the CM didn't know what we were talking about! They called Le Cellar. :)

I guess there is always one in the group and thats us. We were very disappointed in LeCelliar. After the hype we tried it and are only going back to give it a second try because just once isn't enough to put it on our don't try again list. Our steaks very very grissley. The cheese soup was good but I swear, it tasted no better than Campbells from a can. After the prices we paid for this, we consider it one of the most over hyped places to eat in EPCOT. We will let you know how our second try at it is this coming May...smjj

We were just there this past week and had an excellent lunch. I had the cheese soup, the shrimp cocktail - wasibi slaw - yum, and a salad that had blue cheese and nuts - forget the name. Very good. For dessert, my kids had the chocolate moose - very cute! My DH and I split a creme brulee. Good, though the maple of course makes it more sweet than traditional creme brulee. Our server was wonderful and surprised my DH with a birthday treat of chocolate mousse....which I enjoyed very much! (DH stuck with the creme brulee!)

We had lunch there last week. I had the grilled trout salad. Grilled trout beautifully presented on field greens with goat cheese, lentils carrots and yellow peppers. Fellow diners had the steak burger, one with potato salad, which was warm roasted baby potatoes (DELISH!), not the mayonaissey potato salad we thought we were getting. Kids cheeseburger looked standard. Cheese soup and bread were to die for. Even the butter was incredible, tasted hand churned and was a splurge. No dessert! No room!

We went last summer... YUM!! I'm an extremely picky person... I do not like soup for the most part - but the cheese soup using a pretzel to dip with was very good!! (I could do without the potatoes, but the bacon helped!! :) )

We also split our meal because it was a lot of food for a hot day in the late afternoon! We split our steak, and I was very full. We were celebrating our anniversary, and I was looking forward to the dessert, chocolate mousse, and creme brulee... however, these wonderful, kind people sent us an anniversary chocolate dessert - YUMMM!! (and a signed card too!!)

DH enjoyed a Canadian Beer, I had wine... both went very well with our meal! DD I think ordered something from the children's menu, but mostly was entertained with stuff she had bought (maybe it was the Passport, and placing the stickers on it!)

We eat at Le Cellier everytime we go to Disney. I don't think there's a bad item on the menu. The apple cobbler with cinnamon ice cream is the BEST dessert on the planet. They were kind enough to email us the recipie.

I would love to try that recipe! Can you share? :flower:

I was thinking of the open-faced steak sandwich at lunch

Jiminy Crickett -

The apple cobbler with cinnamon ice cream was the dessert that I mentioned earlier in this thread. I would love to have the recipe, too!

Whooo Hooo you guys rock
Thanks for the ideas I've been on www.allearsnet.com and printed the menus but sometimes just word of mouth is better than just a menu
I know there will only be two of us but maybe the sampler for dessert might be the way to go
