I signed on last night to make an ADR for my son's birthday in May, and there were no tables left?? Is that possible?

I called today and got a table for lunch, which is just as well..it's only one Dining credit.

I just found it very strange that they were gone in 5 minutes.

LOLOL yes unfortunately. I've been trying to get a reservation there for 2 years! Well, with a too a year off since we only go every other year. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get a ressie there. At least for me it is. But I keep checking, EVERY DAY! :wizard:

I would keep an eye out for a thread under the Disney Dining Reservations forum for May 2011 Cancelled Reservations.

I was able to snag LC thanks to some great DISers on the Dec 2010 thread.

Well, lunch will be fine..and again, it saves me 1DP credit. And I can still order him his cake as well.

He's 27 and still wants to go to Disney for his birthday!:rotfl:

Try calling. I don't know if they've changed this or not, but when they switched to 2 credits for dinner at LC, they seemed to disable the ability to book it online. I think it was to force people to talk to a CM so the CM could make sure people know it now costs 2 credits for dinner (for those using a dining plan).

The others who arrive before you could have booked it up a couple of days earlier. IF you really want dinner keep checking to see if anyone cancels.

If you wanted dinner, you should know that dinner has been showing unavailable online even if it is available after March 1.

It is very possible that dinner booked up that fast. The place is THAT popular.

People cancel trips when the final payment is due and that will open up restaurant reservations. This really works.

If you are within the window of 45 days then just check everyday religiously on the web and you will see any openings. I've done this as close as a week away from going and I've gotten very hard reservations. The only one that seems too hard to get are the Fantasmic dinner packages.
