I have a reservation there. Am not on the dining plan - I'm sure that doesn't make a difference - but anyway is the restaurant open to replacing sides on their entrees? ( If you are not ordering the fixed price meal. )

Ie. potatoes for risotto etc.

I would think of course "yes" but I seem to be having a flashback of a "no". Oh Lord - maybe I dreamt it or it was a DDP issue years back. Not sure.

Thanks in advance,

Lisa

I was able to get a small salad instead of my potato side in August. :goodvibes

Yes, i was able to sub the cream cheese mashed potatoes for the mushroom risotto on my mushroom filet.

There are many people here on the DIS that have mentioned that they have gotten the mashed potates instead of the Mushroom Risotto. Just ask your server.

I know it's a silly question - it's a restaurant.

But the last time I ate there was 2005 or whatever year free dining started - and I had some kind of disappointment in this area. Or I've gone crazy - one of the two. ;)

The only place I have had a problem subbing mashed or baked was at The Wave. They don't have them on the menu.:confused3

i ALWAYS substitute the risotto for the mashed potatoes. YUM. Best meal, without a doubt.
