Thinking about booking a lunch here with DH and DD4. Do you get the chocolate moose dessert with the dining plan? The food looks good but the dessert even better!
Maybe you can answer this, when I look at dining plan restaurants and the menus...can you basically order anything off of it? They don't limit like the entrees or anything do they, like just for the dining plans?
That's the beauty of it, YOU choose what YOU want. We did the the Quick Service , Snack & Entree one and we NEVER were able to finish all our food. I don't know how people can do the plan where you EACH get an appetizer??? There is just now way!
I see we don't get appetizers then...but someone said the kids dining plan does? So could we order an appetizer off her dining plan for all of us? Or do they eliminate something off her meal if we do that?

Kids have to eat off children's menu, unless there is no children's menu. They do not get to choose from the adult appetizers or deserts. Sometimes the kid's entry comes with a kid's appetizer, sometimes it does not and even then they are not all that exciting. Check out the menus on allearsnet.com.
If you get the deluxe dining plan the adults can have an appetizer, don't know what they do for kids on the deluxe dining plan as they still have to eat off the kids menu.
What I do, is get the regular dining plan, an pay out of pocket (OOP) for an appetizer if there is really one I can't pass up. We usually get the sausage and corn polenta at Le Celliers and share it, but most places we don't get appetizers. If this kids just have to have a desert off the adult menu, we again pay OOP and make them split it because it is too big anyway. That takes care of the moose at Le Cellier.
We got the deluxe one time but we eat all our lunches at CS places and skipped some meals all together. We would eat bites and sample from each other, but a lot of food went to waste. It was fun to try stuff, but now we just get the regular dining plan and do TS for dinner, CS for lunch, eat breakfast in the room, with 1 or 2 breakfasts OOP. Works great for us and much less expensive and we are almost able to get everything we paid for eaten - almost.
Have you already made your ADR? If not, you might want to do it NOW. This is the single hardest restaurant to get into and you are way past the 180 booking window.
