Hi was wondering if anyone knew what the dress code is for Le Cellier at Epcot, can we go in our shorts and tees from earlier in the day or do we have to dress up a bit, not sure if doing lunch or dinner but thinking of trying it out in Oct.

thanks

shorts and t shirts are fine in any restaurant in the parks. I know they dont like sleeveless t shirts in some of the restaurants (apparently) but Ive never seen anyone being turned away from anywhere.

Of course it has to be suitable for the location.. and everyone is wearing park touring gear....

We went in from the park - like drowned rats:scared1:

The heavens just opened - mind you it was a lucky day for anyone without an ADR as quite a few didn't brave the weather!

Hi Cheryl !! We have never been, but we met up with friends last year who were going to Le Cellier afterwards. They were just in shorts and t-shirts too.

I don't think there is any 'proper' dress code over there really at all.
The Americans are not as reserved as us. Same type of restaurants over here you would have to wear dickie bow and tie and evening dress !!

Majority of park and resort restaurants allow standard 'park clothing'.

The exceptions are for 'Signature Dining Restaurants:

For the Signature Dining Restaurants, a "Business Casual" dress code is in effect:
Men - Dress pants, jeans or dress shorts and a T-shirt or long sleeve shirt with collar is required. (Jackets optional.)
Women - Jeans, skirts or dress shorts and blouse, sweater or dress is required.
NOT PERMITTED: Tank tops, swim suits or swim cover ups, hats for gentlemen, cut offs or clothing with rips/tears are not allowed. T-shirts with offensive language/graphics will also not be permitted.
The Signature Restaurants are:
Artist Point, Bistro de Paris, California Grill, Citrico's, Citrico's Chef's Domaine, Flying Fish, Fulton's Crab House, Il Mulino, Jiko's, Narcoossee's, Portobello Yacht Club, Shula's, Todd English's bluezoo, Wolfgang Puck Dining Room and Yachtsmen Steakhouse.

There is a separate dress code for Victoria and Alberts:

Gentleman are asked to wear a dinner jacket with dress pants and shoes. (Ties are optional.) Ladies are requested to wear a cocktail dress, dressy pantsuit, skirt/blouse or nice dress. The following are not allowed: jeans, shorts, capris, flip-flops, sandals or sneakers.)

Ummm - just reading the words 'Le Cellier' makes me hungry. I love it there and can definitely confirm that shorts and T-shirts are OK. Like another poster, we too turned up at Le Cellier looking like drowned rats!

:thumbsup2

have looked at the menu and really fancy like the look of it. my youngest son is really fussy but think we will manage something for him.
