If we go early enough............do you think Le Cellier would be good/appropriate for a 3 year old (with a parent of course)...............?

My 5 year old asked to go here for his birthday last year. He went here when he was 18 months, 3 years and 4 years and then for his 5th birthday.

You probably won't have the only preschooler in the restaurant.

when ever we have been there, Kids of all ages have been eating!

You can take them with no problem!

It would be fine. The place will be full of children no matter when you go.

We were just there last week and there were kids of all ages eating there.

Btw, GET THE FILET WITH THE MUSHROOM RISOTTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so so good!

Oh and the cheese soup too!

the cheese soup & filet with mushroom risoto is a must!!!:cool1:

it a superb resturant! and caters of all

We took our three year old last month and we had a great time. Hubby and I had the mushroom fillet and DS had the hot dog. Best meal of the trip.

They have children's menus, a great kids dessert etc. My only note - they gave out crayons, but only two. Just a heads up in case your child (like mine) needs more amusements...

We just went 2 weeks ago and sat near a family with a young child (I think she was 4?). Anyways ... she did great. It was our first time eating there and I found it intimate and private.

The food was excellent. Enjoy!

We brought our kids when they were 4 and 18 months..it was not enjoyable for me. The main reason was that there was a couple sitting next to us that kept giving my children dirty looks...they were not terrible but acting like kids if you know what I mean;)

We are going in a few weeks and my MIL will stay at the hotel with the kids:thumbsup2 I think it is totally fine if you choose to bring your 3 year old..I won't give them dirty looks:lmao:

If your children are used to eating in a sit down restaurant and can sit and use an indoor voice then go and enjoy. We've been eating there for many years and it's one of my kids favorite restaurants.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, and there was a small child (probably 2) who cried the entire time. Thankfully, I was on the other side of the restaurant, but it was still extremely unpleasant. I have no issues whatsoever with well-behaved children in any Disney restaurant, but parents, please remove the child from the dining room if he/she won't stop crying. I did it with my kids, and they do it with theirs.

About the food -- I've always had the cheese soup and mushroom filet, but this time I wanted to try something different. The lump crab & sweet corn custards and the New York strip were awesome :worship:

I think it is fine to bring any age. Our kids are 3 and we bring them to every single sit down meal for the entire trip!

We have eaten there when my boys were 2 and 5, and then last year at 3 and 6. We have ressies there again in March and this time they will be 4 and 7. Plus we will have a 6 mth old with us this time!! So I say yes it is fine for a 3 year old. My boys call it the "castle" restaurant. They love it.

There will be plenty of other children in their as well!!!!

Oh and last year the table behind us had about 10 adults and they kept singing the "O canada" song over and over. You wouldn't have been able to hear my kids anyway. LOL!:rotfl:

We will be dining there on NYE with our 3 year old and 6 month old. I have no worries as this is a theme park restaurant and plenty of children will be in attendance. Our DS (just turned 3) does great in restaurants, but honestly I have seen/heard loud and cranky children in LeCellier many times. We don't go there expecting a quiet meal anymore. Enjoy your meal! :goodvibes

Just went with my 2 1/2 year old. I would say it all depends on how your kid does at restaurants. Mine was fine, but ran around a bit.

We went with our 1 yr old a couple weeks ago and she did fine. My lo loved the side of macaroni and cheese and so did we. It was enough for all of us to share.

the way things are now at Disney restaurants I would say it is fine....

that is since the dining plan has begun the expectations at this restaurant have gone down - it used to be one of our "fancy meals" and we took our kids once they were able to sit politely through a whole meal...all proper table manners were expected - mostly adults in the restaurant then (primarily I bet because it was not cheap !)

now it is definately a family restaurant - lots of kids...much more noise...more of a typical theme park restaurant....

and I am not going to debate if one is better than the other (it is a theme park after all , not NYC ) but it had changed over time - and kids are very welcome there...and the food is yummy !
