I did a search and the last poll like this was from 2005...anyone have more recent experiences with these restaurants?

I'm looking for a nice night out with DH while kids are having fun at one of the kids' clubs. Which restaurant is a better overall experience? Which restaurant has better food? Which one is your favorite and why?!

Thanks!!

If I were to pick between the two, I would do LeCellier. I was not in the least impressed with the service nor the quality at Yachtsman...If I were to do steak at WDW, I would go to Shula's, but this is about the two that you asked about.. I would definitely pick LeCellier over the Yachtsman.

I've done both recently (within the last 4 months).

While LeCellier is very nice, it really doesn't compare to Yachtsman. For a nice meal for just the two of you Yachtsman would be a good choice.

You might also consider going to AP for a really nice meal.

I dined at Le Cellier once and thought it was good. Then I went to YSH and was WOWed! I have been back to YSH twice since then with another ADR booked for DH and I on our anniversray in July.

After going to YSH I would have a hard time going back to Le Cellier. From my experiences Le Cellier doesnt hold a candle to YSH.

While the LeCellier is good and better priced (1TS) the Yachtsmen by far is better and more pricey (2TS) it is the place we would pick especially if we didnt have our children. We will be dining at both this year.

We had the same dilemma for our up coming trip. I have decided to go with YS.
We will be eating here on the night of our anniversary.

Be sure to note on your ADR that it is your anniversay. We have dined here on 2 of our anniversaries and each time we were given the dessert plate below. Once (our 10th) they even gave me a red rose.
