Le Cellier to go?

Just made our Dec. ADRs and of course couldn't get Le Cellier. The only reason we want Le Cellier is to get the cheddar cheese soup. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if you can get a cup of soup and some breadsticks to go. Anyone know? TIA

No, the full-service restaurants are not set up to do take out. Sorry.

Keep trying for the ADR though. Cancellations happen all the time and I"m betting you'll be able to get something.

Crisi is correct. There have been occasional posts from a poster who gets their "To Go" request for soup. However, judging from posts on the boards here, I'd say about 99% get denied.

I also worry that if too many start approaching the podium for soup to go, there will more crowding and potential backups for those that have reservations there.

Hopefully Disney will soon realize that they should have a permanent booth outside (like they do for food and wine) that offers soup and breadsticks. I've seen that suggestion numerous times and I agree that it's a good one. (This coming from someone who tried the soup and didn't get the hype )

The booth would be a wonderful idea and that is why I was hoping that it might (just maybe) be a possibility. Oh well, me and 10k+ of my closest friends are all trying to get into the same restaurant. I'll keep trying for an ADR, just would feel a little guilty taking up an ADR slot just for soup and breadsticks.

The answer at this time is probably not. It isn't standard procedure at all to offer carryout there. The stars may align and you might get a podium CM who decides to allow it. But I tend to think that too many requests and it won't be allowed at all.
