Hi everyone!!

I noticed how difficult it is to get a reservation for Le Cellier Steakhouse .. So decided to take the only one I could get.... which is a 2:30 in the afternoon.

Does anyone know if we will be able to order from the Dinner menu at 2:30??? I noticed there is a slight difference between the lunch and dinner menu. Just making sure I can order off the dinner menu at lunch time. Thanks! =-)

Nope...

The menu's are very similar though.

Can't go wrong either way.

Thanks!!

I guess your right.... the one website I was looking at only had 4 choices for lunches... then I looked at the menu on a different website and noticed similar choices to the dinner menu.

Just no prime rib for lunch.... only a sandwich! O well i'm going to keep these reservations anyways. I heard it is an awesome place to eat!

You won't miss much not being able to get the prime rib, count yourself lucky. We were very disappointed in the prime rib on our visit to Le Cellier last September. We felt that we definitely did not get value for our money on that. As long as you can get the cheddar cheese soup, it will be good.

We LOVED Le Cellier although the menu has changed since our last trip. I have been trying to get reservations since I decided to book a trip on Saturday, so far no luck. This was my family's favorite food. Enjoy!!

My two sons had a 2:30 reservation for lunch at LeCellier this past January and they said it was great. I believe that time slot is the last lunch reservation taken. I believe the restaurant then closes for an hour or so before reopening at 5 or 5:30 for dinner. They said it was great because the restaurant very quickly began emptying after they were seated, so, while they were eating the restaurant was practically empty. They said their meal was excellent (I forget what they had) and the service was also great. They raved about the lunch so much that I just made a late lunch reservation today at the restaurant for our trip to the F & WF in October.

There are times available, although they are scattered.

I don't think you will find any dinners, but I just booked lunch yesterday for FD in August (and there were lots of lunch times to choose from).

I just cancelled our lunch trip due to not getting free dining, but would have no hesitation to eat lunch and not dinner. The menu looks pretty similar. We just don't want to pay OOP for such an expensive lunch ;).

I've called 3 times asking for ANY time lunch or dinner the time we are there (Aug 16-20) no luck at all. I have also tried a few random times online checking every time for each day we are there. I'm going to keep trying but I feel like I'm phone stalking the ADR people :mic:

Keep trying, we too had a VERY hard time getting an ADR - finally got one for lunch for the last day of our trip. Just start plugging in times in 15 minute increments on the on-line reservations and maybe you'll get lucky.

Good Luck!

The price difference for items that are offered on both the lunch and dinner menus, is this just because of the time of day? Or, are the portions sizes different ?

Oh I have to disagree with the poster who didn't like the Prime Rib.

Mine was FABULOUS!! One of the best I have had anywhere and I am a Prime Rib fanatic. LOL

It was so tender, you could cut it with a fork. No heavy spices, just salt....mmmm so good. I will not get anything different when we go there.

And I have heard that lunch portions are NOT as big as the dinner ones.

Just my opinion, but I enjoy the late Lunch time at LeCellier. Always get a Bowl of Cheddar Cheese soup so I can dip Pretzels breads in it. Order the Prime Rib Sandwich and get Potato Salad.. I'm a big man 6'4 225 and most times are so full don't order desert. One observation I notice their is that people on Dining plan either don't finish almost half their food because get too much(app, entree, desert, breads) or they don't enjoy the full essence of the food because they over eat becuase of the amount they get woth Dining plan.

We try and get ressies at Le C for late lunch. The menus r so similar it really doesn't matter. BTW we hate DP we pay OOP.

We ate there for the first time afew weeks ago and the above posters aren't kidding about the cheddar cheese soup - it's terrific (and I am not a big soup fan). We had the hamburger and it was probably the best burger I've ever had - it was that good!

Am I missing something...you can make ressies 10 MONTHS in Advance now??? :confused3

I don't know how that ressie was made but I called twice and the CMs were certain that a reservation couldn't be made more than 180 days and 10 months was unheard of...I'll call again just to be sure.

Got in twice for 4:30 last summer, so hoping for another for this summer.

The date of that post was May 4, 2010. The ADR was for this past August.

OOOOOOHHHHHH I SEEEEE.... Wishful thinking that it would be 10 months ADR. No Biggie, just me having an absent brain moment.

Considering how Le Cellier has exploded in popularity over the last few years, they probably could take ADRs 10 months in advance! lol

I'm going in December and Le Cell is always a highlight of my Disney trips. I couldn't get an ADR, but I'm hoping for a little walk up luck!
