Heading to Disney in less than 3 weeks:cool1: and haven't been to Le Cellier since my Disney Honeymoon 8 years ago.
Two kids later, heading there again.
Just wanted to check to be sure its an okay place to take a 2 and 5 year old.
We don't go out to dinner much b/c as I am sure most parents can relate, dinner with a 2 and 5 year old isn't always a blast!!!
Thanks in advance.

Do you already have a reservation? If not, they are very hard, if not impossible, to get.

We have seen many young children eating there. It is very close quarters tho. Your little ones may like the pretzel bread.

We were on the Le Cellier band wagon for the last three trips and I do have to say the quality and service has gone way down. There are much better restaurants in WDW that do not book up six years in advance. When we go next year we will not be going to Le Cellier and spending our $ elsewhere.;)

I have to disagree. We had dinner there 6 months ago and were blown away. We are from New York City and have some of the best restaurants in the world here. Le Cellier beats them all!!

If you get in be sure to order the chocolate mouse for dessert for the kids.
Hint: It looks like a moose face and it's fabulous.

We did lunch with our family. 4, almost 3 and 2 14 month olds (not all mine!). There were other kids there as well! Have a good time!

we were there in May 2008...food was superb. There were lots of families in there, including folks with little ones (we had a fairly early reservation.)

We were there last week for dinner and it was not as good as it was the past two years. DD had a hot dog with fries. The fries were so loaded with salt that we sent them back. The chef camr out and asked what was wrong. I wouldn't eat that much salt on anything nor would I expect my DD to.

Anyway, I don't think I would eat there again because the quality of food has gone down hill. We ordered shrimp cocktail. We each got 3 for $10.99 and a quarter of a teaspoon of cocktail sauce for each shrimp. What a waste of money.

I think you could find better places to eat at EPCOT. We had a better lunch in the Land building at Season. There is a better variety and much better food for kids too.

Great Question: We'll be there soon, great to know it will work out for us w/ little ones.

We went with our 2 and 5 year old 2 years ago and had a great time. It was our favorite meal of the trip. They are now 4 and 7 and we are going back in October.

We saw many well behaved children there when we went last May. However, it is VERY close quarters so if the kids get fidgety or start to want to get up and move about, please please please keep them seated or take them out. Tables are literally side by side. I could reach over and touch the tables beside us without even stretching. There is really no room to allow a child to move about the table without upsetting other diners.
