Le Cellier OR Teppan Edo? What would you choose?

Go to Lecellier. YOU will get more out of it for the $$/credit. Cheese Soup/pretzel bread/filet/choc. moose. YUMMY!
If you have never been to CRT, you will love it too.

Maybe thats why I feel torn!! lol... I really want to try Le Cellier (the food looks delish ), and our last trip it was booked for the whole week and we couldn't get in, now i have ressies and im torn thinking that DD would like Teppan Edo.... but we DO visit Jap steakhouses similiar to this one at home.... is it basicly the same type of thing?? I was also really excited to find out that they are still taking 1DDP credit for lunch meals as opposed to dinner, and altho the rest of my week mainly consists of dinner ressies... i dont think it will make a huge difference if we throw a lunch in there instead??

Usuaully when we eat a TS lunch we tend to not even use our CS credit that day BUT i know we can use it on another day so its not a huge problem.

Hard choice, but for me it would come down to..

Do you want better tasting food? If so, Le Cellier.

OR

Would you rather see more of a show? If this, then Teppan.

It sounds like you are leaning towards Le Cellier - I would stick with that. Especially since you already have a ressie there and as you have experienced, they can be very hard to come by. Your daughter will like it there too.

My 10 and 8 year olds have been to both and enjoyed both. Edo will keep your daughters attention better but desserts in Canada will make her day. They were very fun for the kids.

We love Le Cellier and wouldn't miss it on any trip. I'm sure you have plenty of child-friendlier restaurants already planned. Why not do this for you? Your daugher will have Mommy's undivided attention, so she won't be bored. Go with your first choice and enjoy!

I just asked my boys and both overwhelmingly said "le cellier". I agree with them. I have never had an issue with getting a ressie for Teppan Edo. While I have arranged entire trips around when I could get Le Cellier (and Ohana, and chef mickey).

We have eaten at both several times, but Teppan Edo is always a request from my Dad. It is exactly like a local hibachi place except they don't have fried rice, only noodles!

Go to Le Cellier. Have DD order the Campfire Smores for dessert.
Teppan Edo is not as good as a local hibachi.
Le Cellier has things that I can not get at a local steakhouse. The pretzel breadsticks, cheese soup, choc mousse cake, etc.

I'm voting for TE as well. It is so much fun, and a great place for kids. The food is awesome too!

DH and I are the only people in the universe who don't like Le Cellier

Le Cellier! Teppanedo is very good..a whole different type of food of course with some real entertainment but Le Cellier is one of a kind.

I could never pass up tht mushroom filet @ Le Cellier, even last year in October we went there 2 times with ADR's when the last night of our trip came up my DH says lets try Le Cellier again, I said we would have to do a walk up and that would be impossible, but we tried and even on a crowded Saturday during the Food and Wine fest we got in, and we had to cancel another ADR, but 3 times in one week at Le Cellier that was great.
Teppen Edo is also a great choice, now remember you will be seated with others unless there are 8 in your group, but at Le Cellier it's almot like being seated with others cause the tables are close
