I don't hear much about Shulas, but when I do, it seems to be a favorite. However, I have heard a lot about Le Celliers. Which would you choose? Also, if you choose Shulas, is there Disney transportation from POP century to the Swan and Dolphin Hotel?

If your picking between one or the other. Shulas. I’ve ate at both I like both. But between the two Shulas has the higher quality food.

And no not from Pop like every other hotel you have to transfer somewhere to get to another hotel. Probably easiest would be to go to DHS and then take the boat over probably.

Shula's definitely, unless you are on the dining plan. From POP you could take the skyliner to Epcot IG and walk or boat to the restaurant, or take Lyft.

I am currently on the regular dining plan. I'm considering the deluxe plan because it seems a few of my must wants are signature dining restaurants.

There is no comparison. Shulas is very upscale. Very adult atmosphere. Great food.
le cellier is cramped seating. It feels so awkward to be sitting 12 inches from the next party

if you want a great meal, skip Le Cellier

if on dining plans try yachtsman

We plan on going to yachtsman steakhouse too.

ahhhh just read Schulas doesn’t accept the dining plan.

Le Cellier. Although I liked the atmosphere at Shulas, I liked Le Cellier’s filet better. Love their mushroom risotto and Moscato too! But that’s just my opinion! Good luck deciding!

I also highly suggest Yachtsman and Narcoossee’s as well!

Shula's has the better product but does not take the dining plan. I would pick the Yachtsman before LeCellier.

If youre going with DDP, the best way to use it is to eat at a siganture restaurant everyday for dinner. Then of course either bfast or lunch TS restaurant earlier in the day. That way you dont feel like youre spending your entire day eating in restaurants. (not that there's anything wrong with that LOL!).

Since youre doing Yachtsman, i'd ditch Le Cellier to be honest.

Shula's over Le Cellier, any day...but we usually avoid it because it's not unique to Disney. Yachtsman also over Le Cellier, for us.

We tried Yachtsman for the first time last year and my wife and I thought it was a big letdown.

From my dining recap post:
At Yachtsman, our waiter was very over-animated and a little annoying. He also "walked us through" the menu which basically consisted of him reading the menu to us verbatim. He was definitely attentive, but his style wasn't jiving with us. Overall, the meal here was a letdown. The french onion soup was very good. My wife and I ordered the porterhouse for two which was the smallest porterhouse for two I've ever had. The worst offense though is that the meat was completely unseasoned - it tasted like it was not salted at all. This is going to be a harsh comparison, but i have had steaks at The Outback that have been better seasoned than this one. We got truffle fries (extremely small portion size) and creamed spinach (just ok) for our included sides. I thought the dessert options were somewhat underwhelming as well. For a premium steakhouse experience, I was definitely expecting more, and I would rank our local steakhouse back home several steps above Yachtsman. Maybe my expectations were out of wack, and this place always seems to have favorable thoughts posted here, but for us it was a letdown. It's not a place we'd be aching to return to. As far as signature meals go, we both felt Flying Fish was much better.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, of course, but by pretty much any objective measure, Shula's is a better restaurant than Le Cellier. It's a traditional chophouse, almost definitely not unlike the one in your home city. But the food is consistently good if that's an experience you enjoy. I'd rank Shula's comfortably above Yachtsman Steakhouse, as well.

Shula's.

But I almost never go out of my way to eat at Disney.

If Shula's is inconvenient, go to a place that is more convenient.......

because Disney does not make going resort-to-resort very easy (even along Monorail & SkyTram hotels).

Minnie Vans (offered by Lyft) are a convenient way, but are an added cost (which might not matter if you are comfortable with pricing at Shula's).

You can always walk from the entrance at Hollywood Studios.....which I would never do.

Personally, if taking 'free' transportation is an issue, I'd go to Disney Springs.

We love Shulas and would usually pick it over Le Cellier. With that said, we are going to LC on our next trip instead of Shulas just for the nostalgia. It's been years since we've been there--10 to be exact. But if you've tried neither, definitely go to Shulas!

Shula's by a million miles. Felt food especially steak at LC was just okay. Not what people raved about. Shula's is PHENOMINAL! MUCH better service. They really treat you well there, better than most on property. To that date, it was the best steak I'd ever had (my early 40s). And OMG, the chocolate soufflé. mmmmm If I'm paying that much for a meal, dang-it, I better REALLY like it. So I leave LC to the lovers of it, because it wasn't impressive to us at all. If I want a steak on property, it's Shula's I go to.

If you’re looking for a signature dining steakhouse on the dining plan, you’re better off with The Boathouse or STK over le Cellier. Flying Fish only has one steak, but it’s really good.
