Le Cellier or Coral Reef

Ok, we are headed over to the World next sunday. We only booked a month ago so our ADR choices were limited. I still snagged a few decent places including Coral Reef on Sun @ 4:45 p.m. I was just able to grab Le Cellier for 4:05 on Sun. I need to give one up asap. We have never been to either. DH is steak lover, but I understand the steak at Coral Reef is very good. I asked him, and of course, he said "whatever you want!" My DD6 would probably like the aquarium at CR, but LC is so highly coveted. What should I do?

You can always see the aquarium from the Finding Nemo ride... but LeCellier... the mushroom filet! So worth it......

We ate at both places last summer and we loved them both. Don't think you can go wrong. My DH preferred the steak at Coral Reef. I preferred the filet at LeCellier. Don't mean to confuse the situation but just to make the point that that they were both really good. The atmosphere at Coral Reef is really special. Your daughter I'm sure would love it. So maybe go with that. Trust me, it will be yummy no matter what you choose!

I would go to LeCellier. The ressies are so hard to get. The mushroom filet is great and the cheese soup too.

I would say Le Cellier, since the ressies are HARD to get. Also, we think the food is better at Le Cellier, but the atmosphere is better at Coral Reef...

We have eaten at both several times. We were just at Le Cellier on March 18th. Next trip were going back to the Coral Reef. Both places are good, If you have kids my vote goes to Coral because of the atmosphere. You really can't go wrong with either one.

OMG, not even a QUESTION, LeCellier HANDS DOWN. We used to love Coral Reef but lately the service and food has gone downhill big time, NEVER had a bad meal at Le Cellier, usually the best meal of our trip, enjoy!

Hmmm....lol....I think I am leaning toward Le Cellier. I wish I never told DD about the aquarium now. Oh well, what mommy says goes!

Le Cellier is the best, you can't beat it but we always ask for tons of pretzel bread, cheese soup, the filet with bbq not the mushroom one and the cheese mashed potatoes.....mmmm heaven!!! You will not be disappointed, Coral Reef is good too but the steak is just strip not filet, the atmosphere is really neat but you can just go on the nemo ride and look around after through the aquariums and viewing areas.

Coral Reef is our favorite meal! The steak is great! So is the desert!

I love both BUT LC would be my pick the food is better.. I would say make your decision on what you want more..Ambiance ( CR) or Food (LC) now that being said the food at CR is good too just that LC filet is amazing..
Like one of the pp said your son can see the aquarium there w/o eating at CR

I have been to both. The atmosphere at Coral Reef was really cool, but I thought it was on the pricey side. That being said, I understand Le Cellier is just as pricey, if not more, but the steak I had at Le Cellier was easily one of the best meals I ever had. I had no problem paying the bill after that meal.

I'll be an odd one out. DD and I ate at both in Nov and we preferred Coral Reef. We MUCH better service at Coral Reef.. The cheese soup at Le Cellier was good, but the lobster bisque at Coral Reef was better. My steak was so good at Le Cellier, but my fish at Coral Reef was just as good. DD enjoyed her kids meal at Coral Reef more than Le Cellier, and she loved the aquarium.

Either way you can't really go wrong, but we'd head towards Coral Reef first.

Coral Reef is a must do (love the NY Strip) but so is Le Cellier and next time trying for 2 ADRS at Le Cellier (the mushroon filet is the best).
So my answer is keep Le Cellier, now seating is tight in Le Cellier so if you don't mind sitting almost like you are at someone elses table then you are fine.
