Hi, I have an adult friend that I will be going to a conference with in Orlando in December. We are going to Epcot to see the Candlelight Processional, and were going to book the Dinner combo. Since my son has milk/egg allergies and Disney has taken such good care of us in the past, I am excited to introduce my friend to the freedom of eating at Disney with special dietary needs.

I was just wondering if anyone had experiences with LeCellier and/or Coral Reef on a gluten free diet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm allergic to wheat and have had many wonderful meals at LeCellier. Never been to Coral Reed-- sorry.

We ate at Coral Reef with my mom who is a celiac. I believe my mom had the strip steak with no problem. She can't eat seafood so it made it harder, but they even made her GF rolls! Dessert was great because the Chocolate Wave is GF! Tell your friend to enjoy! :)

Me and my DD have celiac .LeCellier was great. The chef was really helpful. We were given warm buns that were really good.for an appitizer we had shrimp with slaw(I cant remember the actual name)

then we had sorbet for desert

The chef at corel reef came out and talked to us but he acted really annoyed about it. But we still had a great meal.My DD had chicken and rice, she said it was really good.I think I had steak. We didnt get a special desert there, just fruit.

Both were great with dd. At Lecellier she had a filet with some kind of butter sauce and cream cheese mashed potatoes, for dessert the maple creme brule (we ate here twice) and at Corel Reef she got the crab legs and mashed potatoes and some kind of sorbet dessert. The steak was alo gf.

This will be our first time traveling to Disney since my son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I find it really disturbing that a chef would seem "annoyed" with a guest with special dietary needs. I think I would be reporting them to a higher up. We've been told to call ahead to the places where we have made reservations and they will be happy to accomadate his needs. I really hope this is the case.

We have always had great experiences with my milk and egg allergic son. Everyone has bad days, I am hoping that this chef was just "in a mood", and that it is not a normal occurance.
