Le Cellier or Coral Reef?? Or even another recommendation?

Originally, I planned on going to Le Cellier, but now I am having second thoughts. Neither DH or I are big steak eaters, but I have heard so much about the cheese soup that I think I need to try it (DH could care less).

I LOVE seafood (DH likes it, but he LOVES scallops), so I was thinking of Coral Reef.

I looked at both menus from allearsnet, but there isn't a lot on either.

A little more info: We plan on attending the CP and will have the dining plan. As of right now it is just DH and I going; however, family may be coming. His parents love steak and I think they will enjoy Le Cellier (but they will go anywhere). My family may also come (if they do, they will eat wherever I plan). So, group size may be a factor (which place is better with groups? The group will range from 2 to 9 people, give or take).

I do not want Biergarten again. I would prefer to stay in Epcot and we will already be going to L'Originale Alfredo di Roma. (Oh, and DH will not go to Restaurant Marrakesh).

Thanks for any help!!

My choice would be Le Cellier. We have been to Coral Reef before and I was not too impressed. The reviews for Le Cellier have been wonderful.

Another vote for LeCellier. They may not have the fish choices that Coral Reef has but I LOVED their Maple Glazed Salmon dinner. I've eaten at both and although I think Coral Reef isn't bad (and more worth it now that it's only 1 TS instead of 2TS), LeCellier is certainly better. :thumbsup2

I haven't eaten at Coral Reef, but one of my friends was there for lunch not too lunch ago with some friends and wasn't impressed by the selection. If you are going to Le Cellier, they have two GREAT seafood dishes served at supper time: a salmon filet and Prince Edward Island mussels. If you're eating at lunch, there are some good salads and sandwiches that aren't steak based.

We haven't been to LeCellier, but we enjoyed CR. We had a group of 5, and plan to take a group of 7 in Dec.

I enjoyed the tilapia, and 3 of us had the steak, and all thought it was very good.

We are very much in the minority about the cheese soup at LeCellier - we had it as carry-out on our first trip & didn't like it at all. That's why we didn't try LeCellier on our last trip.
