I think Le Cellier has more of a romantic charming feel to it for a night alone away from the kids. Maybe you could bring them back a chocolate moose too
I would vote for CG even though I haven't eaten there yet.
I LOVED the food at Le Cellier but we had SUCH bad/slow service that it completely ruined our meal. My husband was incredibly irritated and has made me promise that we will never return. I have heard others complain about the same waiter we had. If you choose Le Cellier just make sure you get a female waitress. If you get a male and his name starts with D, don't say I didn't warn you.
California Grill. We did it sans DS in December. Very nice experience. Took DS to Le Cellier in February. Another good experience~but we felt LC would be more child-friendly, and it was. DS would have been fine at CG (well behaved), but I don't think servers (or patrons) are as happy to see kids at those "signature" restaurants!
