Le Cellier on the dining plan

We ate there on the plan in early October and I do not remember any exclusions. If there were any, our server didn't mention it...

We used 3 adult dining credits and one child credit...my oldest DD shared with everyone (she is 11 and on the adult plan so at sit down places we usually just shared with her...no way could she eat all of that food...). My mom ordered the cheese selection for her appetizer...I think there was some confusion on the boards as to whether or not this would be allowed, but she had no problems.

I have to say...we almost cancelled our ADR for LeCellier. We weren't sure we would find stuff that would appeal to our groups taste. Once we got to Disney and found out that all of the sit down places were booked solid, we figured we would try it. I am so glad we did. My daughters have already requested it for our next trip (December 2006!).

Do they allow sharing? My oldest is 10 and is considered an adult by Disney, and there is no way she is going to eat an entire meal consisting of an appetiser, entree and dessert, so I was thinking of sharing a meal with her. I was actually thinking of sharing a couple of meals so that we can squeeze in another TS meal. Is that allowed?

We had no trouble sharing with our DD at the table service places...of course, we also did this at the counter service locations as well.

I believe the places (TS) we shared were Le Cellier, Rose and Crown, Captain Jack's, and 50's Prime Time Cafe. There was always more than enough food to fill us up...actually, I don't think we ever left a place without food leftover on the plates!

We actually did end up with an "extra" meal this way. We didn't plan it that way, so we didn't have an ADR...that is how we ended up trying Capt n' Jacks (they don't take ADR's). It worked out very well...the food was excellent!

I am not sure if the surf-n-turf is available on the dining plan or not....but if it is....definately go for it....

No exclusions listed when we ate there 11-22-05. The server didn't care what we did regarding credits, paying for a kid, etc. We just informed her and she was happy with it.

:wave2: Hi sorry to bud in, but I was wondering if you ordered from the dining plan at Captain Jacks? I've seen before that it is included, just like you said no ADR's. However the cm when I booked my ADR's told me it's not on the dining plan? Thanks :flower:

When we ate at Le Cellier last month, the first thing our server said to us was that we could not get the surf and turf on the dining plan. I could swear that other people who dined there around the same time I did had the surf and turf, so, I think it all depends on your server.

We ate there in September, a great experience BTW, and had no problems. DH and I had the surf & turf, which was great. Our server was very good, the whole staff was...they even brought out a special dessert for our son because it was the day BEFORE his birthday. I recommend this place to anyone, but we did get there at 5pm, maybe it is tougher later???

Are there any exclusions from the menu at Le Cellier on the dining plan?

Surf & Turf was not on the menu in Nov, but only exclusion was the signature dessert. It would count as 2 desserts and meant to be shared between 2 people. Interested because pricewise it was the same price as the dessert cheese and fruit plate, which was covered.

Enjoy... Le Celliers was one of our favorites

Thanks! I'm using it as this year's xmas card!

We at at Le Cellier in August and last week (the day before Thanksgiving). Both times on the dining plan. In August we were allowed to order the "special" which was surf and turf. However, in Novmeber they no longer had the surf and turf "special." So, if you want lobster with your steak, you will had to order it as a side dish (which is not included on the dining plan). The lobster side is only $12, so if you really want it you can still have it.

Le Cellier is the best deal of any sit down on the dining plan. Our bill for 3 adults and 1 child was $188.00.

Enjoy!!

Thanks for all of the info. The surf n turf is not on the menu listed on allears. I think my dh is looking forward to a 20 oz grilled prime ribeye and me the filet mignon. I can't wait to eat here, I haven't heard a single bad review from about this restaurant, so I am sure it is going to be fabulous!
