Le Cellier Not accepting ADR's?? panicking

We have an ADR for Le Cellier lunch the week of Oct. 21st so when I started reading this thread my initial thought was "ACK!! I have an ADR and it is now closed?!?!?!" Luckily I read the whole thread before throwing a tantrum. This one books up quick but we have always had better luck asking for lunch ressies.

I tried lunch or dinner between Sept 22 and Oct 1st (any time). Twice I called back in Feb, and twice the CM just laughed, casually checked, and said "booked".

I have a ressie for Oct.2 at 2:10 for Le Cellier. Like others have said, I'm sure they're just booked up. It's an extremely popular restaurant.

When I book our ADR for Le Cellier on the 183 day mark, the CM (who was very, very nice) said "oh, no! Not That restaurant!" But because I wanted a table for 2 instead of 3 (we are putting DS in Neverland for the evening), she had no problem getting our reservation. CM said that 2 is always easier to book there than 3 or more!

This was back in Mid-May and she told me then that they were booked solid for October and most of the beginning of November!

Anyone else remember when you used to get to the park, and the first thing you did was walk very, very fast to your restaurant choice for the evening and see the CM at the podium to make your reservations?

I have an ADR there for Sept 29th and have called a couple of times trying to move it to a night later in the week. I've been told every time that they are fully booked for the entire fall.

If you have your heart set on eating at Le Cellier and can't get an ADR. I'd suggest showing up in-person the minute they open for lunch. We had lunch there Monday 8/27 (beginning of Free Dining no less), and at 11:45 I'd say about 80% of the tables were empty. They filled up rather quickly of course, but the CMs there told me that there's often lunch walk-in availability before noon, because there are always some no-shows in that first hour or so.

Thanks for this heads-up. I booked a lunch ADR there at exactly 180 days out and wanted an 11:30 seating, but the best they could give me was noon. I'll make sure we show up when they open (11 or 11:30? Does anyone know?), let the check-in CMs know we've arrived (early-wink-wink) and see if we can get one of those earlier "no show" seatings.:tiptoe:

I just made an ADR there this morning. We really wanted lunch, knowing what's been said many times in this thread already from past experience, but the earliest that was available was 5:30 for dinner. This is for a date in January too. We've never eaten there before, and we're really excited to try it. :)

I called about 10 days ago to get all my ADR's booked for my Oct 9-17 trip. At the time LeCelllier was not available for lunch or dinner my entire trip, but 2 days ago I called and I got a lunch ressie at 1:50 on the the 16th. There was 2 ADR's earlier if I wanted but I wanted later. I'm just going to keep trying for that dinner ADR until they won't accept any more calls from me or they just give me one!

I also booked a lunch ADR this Monday for Nov. 28th at Le Cellier. Glad to hear that you were able to book lunch, keep trying if you'd still like a dinner ADR as there are always cancellations - just have to be lucky enough to call at the right time.

phew!

I have a lunch AR here Nov 13th on my 50th birthday!
party: :bday:
right after the Dolphin Encounter
and before I spend the afternoon listening/dancing to Off Kilter

They can always have cancellations.

I've been hounding a friend who is going Oct. 20-27 that she really needed to make her dining reservations. She just called today and made her ADRs. She e-mailed me the list of what she got and I was surprised that she got a 1:50 pm lunch at LeCellier. I told her she must've been pretty lucky. But then again, she got breakfast at CP, dinner at LTT, dinner at PrimeTime, dinner at Sci Fi all TODAY for their trip that's less than 2 months away.:thumbsup2

:scared: And I still haven't made all my ADRs yet either! And we are going the same week!

That is really lucky. I've still got one more reservation to make. I'm hoping for the character breakfast at Animal Kingdom, but the CM I talked to today said they hadn't been told when they'd be accepting reservations for it. I plan to call every week to see if it's up yet or not. Basically, I'm going to make a nuisance of myself. :cool2:

Or stop by behind Spaceship Earth and go on the WorldKey terminals to book there; state of the art in 1982!:surfweb:
