I currently have ADRs for lunch and dinner at LeCellier on the same day. :cool1: I would like to decide which one to keep so I surrender the other one. We've never eaten at LeCellier and are anxious to try. Also, we have a DS6 who will be with us. We are debating the sit down at Epcot for lunch vs. dinner also. This is our DS's 2nd trip, btw. Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Lunch would be my pick. Not sure that the difference in price/menu between lunch and dinner is justified.

Lunch is just fine with us. We went last week and had a great experience, as usual.
I would rather go to the lunch with 1 credit or lower price, than the new dinner for 2 credits.

I prefer lunch but either would be nice.

We did lunch there and it was great. We had an 8 & 10 year old with us and the break was nice at about 12:30. We didn't have to wait at all to be checked in, it was full though. None of us got steak though, so not sure if that would be different at dinner.

I had both lunch and dinner at Le Cellier in October. Both meals were really good. I had the filet mignon at both meals; the cut of meat is larger at dinner (5 oz versus 8 oz) and the wild mushroom risotto had much larger pieces of mushrooms. Both filets were cooked perfectly and the lunch portion was probably more my size. The cheddar cheese soup was the same. My Mom really loved the duck meatballs at lunch, but said the rib eye steak at dinner was really good. Also at lunch, there is the s'mores and chocolate moose (yes, it looks like a moose) dessert, which are really cute.

I would look at the menus for both lunch and dinner to see which one is more appealing. Remember that lunch is one credit, while dinner costs two.

We only ever go for lunch, have never done dinner. As long as they have the Mushroom Filet at lunch, DH and I are happy :goodvibes

I think we've decided on lunch. We were debating more of a sit down at the end of the day vs. a break in the middle. Our ADR is at 12:30 so hopefully we can finish up FW in the morning and be ready for a break. We just need to remember to enter WS on the right side!

Lunch. The two TS credits aren't worth it, IMHO. We always do lunch there, though.

We had dinner there in September after numerous lunches and dinners over the years. We won't be going back for dinner. They no longer allow most substitutions. The food was not worth the price we paid (we did not do the dining plan this time) for our meals. We were very disappointed after this had been a long time favorite.

Personally for me I'd do neither lunch or dinner at LC. But if you must I would do lunch since there are way better steak options than LC for dinner. I will admit I have not been there since they became a signature, but there is very little (if anything) that would inspire me to use 2TS credits for dinner.

If there is anyone on the DIS that would give a fair, unbiased, and balanced opinion it would be you. Your opinion is the same as that of our travel agent whom was a huge LC fan and said the same thing as you after going there several weeks ago.;)

I've eaten there for both lunch and dinner and I prefer lunch. I love the mushroom filet and the lunch portion is just right for me. I don't use the dining plan but if I did.... I don't think it is worth 2 TS credits.

We just had lunch there on the 20th. Very good. We each had the NY strip but I exchanged my mashed potatoes for the risotto - and it was fabulous. DH and I also shared a Creamed Spinach Gratinée. The pretzel bread is really good too. It's my granddaughters favorite restaurant, so we just have to eat there lol.
