Le Cellier for a snack?

I'm dying to try the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread on our trip in December, but since we'll have a 6 year old, 3 year old, and an infant with us, we're mostly sticking with counter service (with the exception of a couple character meals). Anyway, I was thinking it might be nice to stop in at Le Cellier around 3PM for a snack, so the grownups can try the soup and bread, and the kids can have a chocolate moose. Does this seem reasonable? I'm looking to take a short break, avoid crowds, and try this darn soup everyone raves about! Would a PS be necessary that time of day? Is the soup enough for two adults to split? Is the chocolate moose big enough for the kids to split?

Also, I noticed that Trapper Bob's has cheddar cheese soup seasonally. Would they be likely to have it in early December, and do they have pretzel bread?

This should be ok since technically you are eating at an off time. I would still make a ps for this and tell the CM when you are booking what you are intending to do. They should be able to advise you that this is acceptable.

The cheddar cheese soup comes in a small cup. We went during lunch, their bowl size may be smaller at that time. We went early December last year and the place selling beaver tails outside wasn't selling the soup at that time. It could have been just that day but I could of used some warm soup.

We always stop in at Le Cellier for a snack...soup, bread...and an appetizer...those are the best things on the menu.

Wow, I have never seen the cheese soup served outside...that would be nice though. Well, ok, I know it is served outside during the food/wine fest.

We've often had a snack or dessert during an off time. I think it's perfectly acceptable--even encouraged--during off times.
