Le Cellier fans?

We did this last trip, and it was the best meal. We ususally stick to Character meals, and buffets which are ok. But after a week of this, we did the Le Cellier(more for us then then kids :goodvibes ) and the Filet Mingion sp? was the best. I would really recommend this place,. However, we have never done any of the other steak houses in WDW or the signature restaurants so don't know how it will compare. I would book, you can always cancel it later if it doesn't work in your plans. Especially since it is one of the most difficult ADR to get.

I am making an ADR for this, we are looking for a good steak dinner! Thanks for the comments guys!

This is our favorite restaurant by far!! It is our 'must do' on every trip. My hubby loves the theme, atmosphere, and most of all the food!! He is a total carnivore and I am an herbaivore (Sp???); we both are able to order wonderfull entrees. YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

The pretzel bread is fantastic!!!!

Last trip I ordered the creamed spinach...OMG <DROOL> it was wonderful with all it's cheesy goodness

Sounding better and better with each post...now will I be able to score an ADR? :scared:

Seriously, thanks for all the posts. I'm looking forward to it!

Quick, go call now, no more posting until you do!:) I called not at 180 days, but not too long after that, and 7:30 was the best time we could get for the entire week we will be there. I called back recently to try to get a little earlier and there was nothing. We really enjoyed our first time last year and we are going back in June. My DS15 picked this as the restaurant he wanted to celebrate his birthday at.

Okay now you have all made me STARVING.....those pretzel sticks, that creamed spinach....the filet mignon......I LOVE LeCellier.

and that dessert is a "Chocolate Mousse"!! lol

Went here 3 years ago before discovering these boards and the raves about the place. I didn't think it was anything special...just a bunch of hype!!!!

I kinda agree - food wise.
We just returned a few days ago from our 1st Disney trip and while we enjoyed our meal here - it was by far nothing to rave about. The atmosphere was very cozy and our server Amy was probably one of the best the entire trip, but the food was ok. I still have to do my trip review- but I openly admit I was most looking forward to this meal and felt the hype set my expectations too high

My fiancee loves this place- our first trip together in '06 we hadn't been told about ADR, and were laughed at when we asked at 2pm if there were reservations available for dinner. We were sure to plan accordingly for the two following trips. :)

I am NOT a big red meat eater either- I got some sort of steak with gelatinous goo this last time... not really my thing, the server was shocked to get most of it back. The time prior I had gotten the pork chop, which was fine. I suppose you do have to be a meat lover to really get the most from this place. :) I agree with Doll's daughter- the ceasar salad was bitter and not the best. Stick with a soup!!

As I mentioned though, my fiancee- a steak man thru and thru- LOVES it, and to me its worth it (like everyone else) for the pretzel bread and the creme bruilee. (YUM!)

Gelatinous goo? :scared1: Any idea what that dish was so I can avoid it? :rotfl:

We went in October, and LOVED it! If only my trip report was finished, I'd just link to it. ;)

Here are some pics, I know the chocolate moose has been posted already, but he's cute enough to show more than once!

yum yum great photos!

I was going to start a new post about what was good to eat at Le Cellier but I found this thread. We are going next week (oh my gosh I can't believe it's next week)

Most of our meals are character meals except Boma and Le Cellier. I thoght the adults on our trip would appreciate that.
