Calling all Le Cellier fans! I can only vaguely remember the last time I went there (I was young). So many of you rave about it! Should it be a must do for my next trip? Bring on the reviews! And thanks. :)

It is definitely a must do for us. We love the Mushroom Filet and of course the cheddar cheese soup! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Funny thing is, I'm not a big red meat eater, but every now and then, I love a good steak! :lmao: I know my DH would like it, and DS 3 would probably scarf all the pretzel breadsticks. :)

Is it worth going to if you don't eat steak?

I didn't think so from my last visit but I have not been there in years. Is anything good that isn't steak?

It is a must-do for us every trip (we are seriously considering changing one of our September lunches to LeCellier so we can have lunch AND dinner). We love the cheese soup along with the breadsticks as well. My DH loved the prime rib sandwich last visit and I love the filet over cream cheese mashed potatos. And the heavenly (and NOT FOR MY DOCTOR'S EARS) Chocolate Chocolate Whiskey Cake for dessert! :worship:

We got lunch reservations this year. Looking forward to the cheddar soup and seared salmon salad!! For the non-steak eaters, if you like salmon, Le Cellier does it very well. Their pork chop is very good, too. My daughter says ixnay on the caesars salad.

I probably won't do pork, either. Just salmon? No wonder I haven't been back.

We were there in December and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's kinda dungeon-like, but very cool. I like the lighting which resembles candle light like in the medieval days. The food is ok, but others rave about it like it was some 5 star restaurant. The food is good/great, but don't expect it to rival that of other high-end restaurants. Personally we liked it and we'll do it again. The prices are a bit high, but that's to be expected at dinner time at WDW.

My family and I were big fans of it. The pretzel bread was great. My wife got the cheese soup, and it was great. Here's a ugly pic of her yummy entree (the maple-flavored steak).

It is a must! We love this place. My husband had one of the best steaks that he has ever had at any WDW restaurant. The service was great and it was romantic. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments, guys! I'm normally very routine with my favorite restaurants, but this is sounding good to me. Worth a try, anyway! :)

I had the filet with cherry reduction and sweet potato/white potato mash (isn't on the menu very often at all.) and it was sooo tasty. I was hesitant at first but I'm very glad I decided on it.

The cheese soup wasn't so wonderful as a soup but it was super tasty as a tip for the pretzel bread. Next time I'm just asking for three pretzel breads. :)

My DS3 would get a kick out of that dessert! Who am I kidding, DH would love it too! Maybe I'll keep it a secret....:ssst:

Give me a bowl of cheddar soup, pretzel breadsticks and an Ice Wine Martini and I'm in heaven. Honestly, I could do this and be just fine skipping the entree.

My daughter had a shrimp scallop pasta dish that was divine. "Sauteed Shrimp and Bay Scallops - served with a rich lobster cream sauce, linguini and spinach finished with lobster oil $19.99 " She's 10, so we were quite shocked she ordered this, but we believe in letting the kids order their own food as long as they aren't just ordering cake. :rotfl2:

I've said it a thousand times, but that Ice Wine martini is the best $9.00 you'll spend. It's not on the menu, but give it a shot. :)

I'm not a huge martini fan but that sounds interesting. What exactly is in it?
