What is the earliest I can *try* to make an ADR for dinner at Le Cellier?

I think she meant what time. When we went in July 06, we got a 5:00 ADR and i think that was the earliest dinner time.

earliest dinner is 4pm...Dinner starts at 4p...We had dinner on 9/22 and could only get a 405pm ressie.

How was it eating that early? We sometimes dine at off times for more popular restaurants so the time doesn't bother us. Just curious if you had to wait long before being seated. Was the restaurant crazy noisey? Thanks for any insight. :thumbsup2

We had a 4:10 last September, we were one of the first ones in the restaurant for dinner, it filled up while we were eating. We had good service because we were our servers first and only table for a while. We had a big breakfast that morning at the castle, so we didn't eat lunch just a pretzel for a snack. Then had a big dinner. After dinner we had time to go back and to soarin before illuminations. We have a 4pm for dinner this March.

We were amongst the first to be seated but they did tend to fill up the tables in the same area all at once if you see what I mean. So even though there were only a handful of tables filled at that time, we were all seated in the same part of the restaurant.
The restaurant wasn't noisy as all but the service was poor. Our waitress was on autopilot and practically stood at the edge of our table waiting to clear our plates. She brought the bill with our desserts too.

The food was ok but the service really put us off. We are going to give it another try to see if our experience is any better.

Same sort of experience here when we dined there last month. We ate there 3 years ago and had a fabulous meal. The only ressie I could get this time was Halloween at 4pm. That's when the dinner seating begins. We waited only about 5 minutes before being seated. The dining room was empty but started to fill up while we were eating. Not too bad and not noisy. However, we hated our waiter..his name was Dave. He spoke down to us and we felt so rushed. Dinner was over in about 45 minutes. Soup came out right away, 2 seconds after the soup, our entrees came out. Food was ok, DH liked his filet but my prime rib was raw (I ordered it medium rare) and I had a hard time getting the waiter to take it back. He lectured me on how the prime rib was slow roased for 3 hours and how medium rare is a warm pink center. I know what mr is, I've been ordering my meat that way for almost 40 years..just take it back and cook it! I should have said something to management but that was an afterthought. All he had to do was apologize and take it back. Since our courses were served right on top of one another, we were full and didn't stay for dessert. We are going to try somewhere different next time, the service and quick dinner put a bad taste in our mouths unfortunately. :sad1:

I went this past 9/22 and even with a 405pm ressie, We had to wait 15mins .The restaurant also filled up ver y very fast.I saw lots of people coming in to the podium asking if there was anything available and they turned all the walk ups away saying they were booked solid the whole week(no surprise there)
