Le Cellier DXDP question

i posted this under the dining plan board and didn’t get a response so thought I’d post here.

Hi all-

I am considering doing the DXDP on an upcoming baby moon trip in April. I’ve done this dining plan before but am trying to decide if I’d rather just pay OOP for the whole trip. I have a question to help make the decision a little easier. Does anyone know if the poutine at Le Cellier can count as your appetizer on the DXDP?

Unlikely. The app usually has to come from the app menu, not from the "sides" menu. I've never seen anyone reporting that they were allowed this, so if this is your make or break for the DDP, I'd skip the DDP.

My DD and I just ate at Le Cellier tonight for our last night of our DxDp. We didn't ask for anything not covered by the DP, but I overheard the couple eating next to us ask to have the lobster mac and cheese for an app. Their server asked her manager who authorized it, so it never hurts to ask. By the way the filet mignon and lobster pot pie were to die for!
