Okay, I've got a question regarding Le Cellier and the DDP. When I'm on the reservations site, I see that there are multiple lunch menus. One is a Prix Fixe Lunch and the other is just a standard Lunch menu. When we use the DDP TS Credit for lunch, are we forced into a particular menu, or can we use the regular lunch menu?

TIA.

We always use the DDP and have never been forced to use a certain part of the menu while dining at Le Cellier. Since we always get DxDP, we are entitled to an appetizer, entree, and dessert. If you are on the regular DDP, then you get the entree and dessert. I believe the prix fix meals are also covered under the DDP, but since we don't get that (always go with the normal menu), I am not 100% sure.

Go for the regular menu for sure. We always pay OOP for the Cheese soup-- not to be missed acording to my daughter. We will be there next month. Enjoy!:goodvibes:cool1:

Thanks! I was a little worried because the Prix Fixe doesn't have the Mushroom Filet, and THAT's what I want. :-D

No worries, we always get the cheddar cheese soup, Mushroom Filet , and the chocolate Moose for dessert while on the DDP. Enjoy :goodvibes

Several Epcot restaurants have a fixed price menu the includes appetizers and some of the lower priced entrees. On the basic DDP (not normally including an app) this is a nice way to have an app with your meal too if one of the entrees appeals to you. There are NO substitutions on these meals, even for sides, and never the higher priced items on these menus.

You can opt for the fixed price menu or order off the normal menu, your choice. We take the fixed price one when the entree is something we would have ordered anyway.

So, could one person in the party, assuming one of the meals in the Prix Fixe menus appeals to them, order that deal and everyone else order ala carte? Would be one way to get an appetizer on the table and dessert for everyone at the end on the DDP.

Just a thought, I wouldn't imagine this is considered cheating the system.

What do you mean you always us the DDP, and always get the DxDP?
The DDP didn't start until 2005, and the DxDDP didn't start until 2008.
