We just got a call from Disney a few hours ago telling us they pushed back our 3:20 ADR to 2:50 cause they were closing ADRs after 3. Anyone know what's goin on?
1) You need to call, quickly.
2) It looks like all the night time ADR's are canceled.
3) Hopefully they can find a spot before 3:00pm for you.
4) If not, they would get you into another Epcot eatery for an ADR.
5) This is a somewhat frequent occurrence at WDW.
6) The eateries can be taken over for any number of catered events, such as
. . . large corporate parties
. . . local company parties *
. . . weddings
. . . etc
* We had our company's quarterly awards dinner that took over California Grille. I am sure there were some upset folks who had there dinner & fireworks ADR's canceled.
another suggestion to anyone who is being asked to move their ADR time or switch restaurants... when we had a similar issue with Teppan Edo (back when it was Teppanyaki) the CM offered us private viewing of Illuminations as "compensation" (for having to eat at San Angel! LOL!) and the private viewing was AWESOME!!!!! (on the patio behind Rose & Crown)... it might be worth it to ask for something like that to "sweeten the pot" for being inconvenienced!

We had the same thing happen to us (the remodel ran months behind, as I recall) but when the CM asked if I had anywhere else I would like to eat, I said glumly, "I don't suppose I could get into LeCellier" and she said, "Oh, you never know!" Yes, we got into LeCellier that time AND we got premier viewing for Illuminations (although not near Rose & Crown).
So don't settle when they cancel out your ADR's. At least try for something comparable!
I'm glad we have a 2:05pm ressie at Le Cellier on 10/8; yet, I'm still worried. We're already missing Wishes, as we can only do MK on 3 different nights and they are all booked for MNSSHP. GRRRR.
