Can you get the Happiest Celebration on Earth Chocolate Whiskey Cake without the whiskey? :crazy2:

The whisky is cooked out....you don't even know it's there...I was a little hesitant on trying it because I HATE whisky :crazy2: but you can in no way tell it's there! It's fabulous!

:thumbsup2 Okay! Thanks for the input -- maybe if I don't care for it, DH will trade desserts with me! :thumbsup2

I'm not of legal drinking age and I was wondering if they ever make it without the whisky if you ask? The other desserts don't look that appealing.

alcohol evaporates when cooked - which I believe is how the whiskey cake is made (unlike the classic holiday fruitcake which is baked and then saturated with rum)

Thanks for the info. I was wondering the same thing. It sure looks yummy on the dessert thread.

I have been to a restaurant before that poured liquor over an already baked cake. Most of the liquor settled in the bottom half of the cake so I ate the top half off.

Can't wait to try it!
