Don't know if this has already been reported or not, but the Chef's menu at Le Cellier is not available anymore (at least for dinner). Everything is back to being a la carte. We ate dinner there on May 7, but am not sure how long this has been in effect. Just an FYI.

Guess if I want the cheese soup it will have to be OOP. I'm sure that is probably a big part of it. They feel they'll make more money if people on the DDP are willing to still pay for it.

I'm sure -- that's what we used to do (order one bowl of the cheese soup OOP & then we all used it for "dip" for the wonderful bread sticks) We thought we were going to get by without OOP this time since DD & friend would probably have ordered the Chef's favorites since their choices were on that list (salmon, soup & creme brulee.)

There had been speculation that this was an "experiment" to see if more people on the DDP would order this with the appetizer enticement instead of the higher priced entrees. Guess it didn't work!

We were planning on just ordering the soup OOP anyway. I'd rather pay OOP and still get the filet.
