Le Cellier cheese soup.....

was a big dissapointment. The flavor was good, but I was expecting a creamy soup without any "chunks" in it. I had asked our waitress if the soup contained onions and she said no. I'm pretty sure there were. I didn't send it back because after my son's first taste of it, I never got to eat any more!

The rest of our meal there was great....we could have made a meal out of the bread sticks...YUMMY.

Yes,It has purple onion and celery in it. I have the recipe one of the waitress gave me.

DBF loves the soup because it's very similar to Ukranian machanka (sp?). We said this to the waitress and she said it's definitely possible because they try to take dishes from all over Canada and there's a lot of Ukranians in western Canada. Pretty interesting.
