Le Cellier Can't Take Us

I understand that. I just had the same "8:50" problem and we are not on the plan. I thought that "Ozziewag" was trying to say that it was easier to get a ressie off dining plan than on.
I just think Le Ceiler is way busy and everyone has a hard time getting in.

How do you pronounce Le Cellier? I might call for reservations but I don't want to sound like a fool. ;)

le as in let cell-yer. that is the most common. im sure the french have a more exotic way to say it

I wonder if it has anything to do with the dining plan? I called for Sat. July 14 (Lecellier), and not as soon as I could, (but I can't remember the date) and got 7pm. We are not on the DP this time, and there is only 2 of us. But I had that early and late problem last year, when we were on the dp. :confused3
I don't think so. The CM I talked to asked if we were on the dining plan way after he looked for a way to fit us in earlier

I am thinking about skipping Le Cellier. We are in Montana and we can get some of the best steaks on the planet. I may just go for something else. Does anyone know of a nice place that my kids can find something good to eat?

My kids and I love the food at the Chinese pavillion at EPCOT. My daughter just raves over their egg rolls. Both the counter service (I think "Lotus Blossom Cafe") and the table service (I think "Nine Dragons") are great, but the counter service, of course, doesn't require a ressie.

we're going in december and are a party of TWO. does anyone think we'll have problems getting a reservation at le cellier?? :confused3
I called yesterday and got a reservation for two at 6:30 at Le Cellier in December but I had the 180 + 10 advantage as I'm staying on property. The Le Cellier night was 180 +6.

I heard somone say that larger parites are only seatd at the first and last seating for Le Cellier. I think the reasoning for that was because they had to push tables together to accomodate them and that could only be donr at opening and closing. Maybe you're falling into that problem with 5 people? But it does seem strange that they could seat 6 at an earlier time. :confused3

What time are you having luch? I usually don't like to eat a real heavy meal at 11 or 12 but it might work later on. I had no idea that the menu was the same

Our ressies are for 2:20 PM. You can have either an early or a light breakfast and a later CS dinner. There are ways around everything :yay: !

I was able to book an ADR at 7:00pm for our party of 5 at Le Cellier. I did book it at exactly 180 + 10 (or trip is 12 days), but I had no problem. Last year though, we didn't book quite so early, and had to have an 8:30ish seating for the same size party. I would keep calling back, maybe someone will cancel. Or maybe they are holding some tables for the Candlelight Processional. Good Luck! :thumbsup2

For the second year in row, I have been unsuccessful at getting a dinner reservation for five at Le Cellier. Now I know I'm not calling at 180 days out or even 90 days as we going in August but, prior to the Dining Plan I never had trouble getting dinner reservations there even during the week between Christmas & New Year's for a party of nine.

So this year I took a 2:40 lunch, the latest I could get. The menu is not quite the same, the steaks are smaller and I think a few items are missing.

After all this, I hope it's as good as I remember.

We were there May 29th. We're a family of 5 and were seated at at table for 6. We got a 6pm reservation, but booked it around the 180 mark.

The hostess said most times are booked at the 6 month mark so getting any time after that is a lucky break there now. Guess we'll just have to start treating Le Cellier like CRT.

I did exactly that, today was my 180+10 mark. I called today at 5am (7am their time). But the earliest was 8:50

i believe there is something fishey going on here, i got my Le Cellier ADR for mid august 6 weeks ago and could only get 8:50. a freinds DD called a week ago and could only get 8:50 and now this. i think they are putting people where they want them instead of where they want to be.

Hmmm. . .when I called about a month ago for our September date I was told the only time available was. .DRUM ROLL PLEASE. . 8:50! :rotfl:

Same result for our family of 5. Only time was 8:50pm. I have called back several times with no luck. The CM said if I wanted it I better grab it while I could. Not real excited with the time but maybe can catch Illuminations another night.

I just called last night around 9:30 and got a table for 2 at 5:40 on Fri, July 13. I was offered on for 8:30 on Wed, July 11, but I don't like to eat a big meal that late. I would not think that you would have a problem, but Good Luck. :goodvibes

I took that time as well. My DH really wants to go. I am planning on another half day at EPCOT so I guess I will view Illuminations then. I am just hoping that with the 2 hour time zone difference it will feel more like 6:50 :lmao:

Hey maybe with everyone being booked at 8:50 better times will open up. Hey i can wish can't I? The year of a million dreams. :cool1:

This 8.50 thing is really strange! I would call back and enquire about a 6 person table, you could say you have young children and can't eat that late?

We're going in August, called on my 180+10 mark and got Le Cellier for 2 for 7.30pm, the time we requested.
