This restaurant books quickly and has limited seating, so I suggest early reservations if you would like to dine here.
The check-in process was quick & easy. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, which was a bit loud. The waitress was very friendly, but gave us terrible service. She brought out the free breadstick assortment (sourdough, pretzel & multigrain).
For an appetizer I ordered the cheese soup and though it was terrible, only had a couple of bites. It was only tolerable with the breadsticks dipped in it. I much preferred the Rose & Crown potato and leek soup. My husband had the Caesar salad and that was fine.
For dinner we both had the mushroom filet. My husband had his with the risotto & I had the cream cheese mashed potatoes substitute. We both liked it better with the mashed potatoes. This is a great filet mignon, very tasty.
For desert, we got the club cake (not recommended) and the maple creme brulee (burned too much on the top, but the maple creme was good.
The total bill was $108.44, free to us on the deluxe dining plan. This is a great deal for only 1 table credit dining. However, we decided we would not return. The room is dark and cold, not very fun for a sunny Florida day. The room was loud and unromantic, service was not great, and the food was too similar to the selection we have here in the northwest IMO.
On our next visit we will plan on Rose & Crown again at Epcot and try the entertainment & show in Germany for our Table Service.
