I have been out voted by my family so there is no Le Cellier dinner for our January trip. Germany seems to have won the night. But I would love to have a Maple Creme Brulee. Does Le Cellier have a bar? I would have no problem going to the bar and ordering the dessert while my family tours the world. Has anyone ever gone to the hostess and ordered a carry out order for dessert?

I have done this at other WDW restaurants in the past. I would love to watch Illuminations while eating that dessert.

Le Cellier is not equipped to order anything to go.Some people have had luck, but those are few and far between.I tried to do it for the Cheddar cheese soup in Dec 09 and was told they are not equipped to handle any take out orders.Sorry

1. There is no bar at Le Cellier.

2. You cannot order food to go at the podium of any table service restaurant; the only way to get food to go at TS is to be seated, order your food, and then when it arrives ask for it to be packed up.

3. Creme Brulee to go may be difficult anyway, as it has to be either placed in a salamander or heated with a blowtorch. Most to-go containers would have a problem with this.

Oh well, maybe next year. I have ordered lettuce cups and fried green beans to go at the Yak and Yeti to enjoy outside while waiting for the kids to ride Everest.

Just made an ADR for 3pm so the whole family can sit down for an afternoon treat. Hopefully they won't get made of we are only ordering a couple of desserts and coffee during an "off" time.

Le Cellier has no bar, and the odds on their doing carryout orders are not great.

Yak and Yeti is not a Disney-operated restaurant, their operations may be different. Disney-operated restaurants, in general, will not fill to-go orders because they are not set up to accommodate them. Those who have succeeded have done so out of the fact that those at the podium felt like they could do the accommodation - it doesn't always work and these days it works less often because the restaurants are so busy.

No one at Le Cellier is going to actually care what you order, and if they make remarks that you are not ordering enough, that is not what they should be doing.

At Boulangerie Patisserie they sell creme brulee and you can get it to go.

Almost every time we have been waiting for our table at Le Cellier, I have seen people getting cheese soup and bread sticks "to go." They are always told they need to wait for a server to come over and take their order, which can sometime take awhile. But I have never heard anyone being told that it's not possible. And I completely agree with Cheshire Figment about the Creme Brulee. I think the only way to take that "to go" would be to scrape it out of the ceramic dish and it wouldn't be very appealing to eat after that.

There are also numerous (recent) reports of persons asking to order cheese soup and breadsticks to go at the Le Cellier podium and being denied. This will likely entirely depend on how busy the restaurant is at the time you ask.
