Le Cellier Burger?

Did they get rid of the burger at Le Cellier for lunch?!!!

When we were there first week of October it was on the lunch menu, and Dh said that it was absolutely the best burger he has ever had in his entire life!!

it's not the same one they used to have, but very yummy. I get one every time we go for lunch.

No, it's still there. I found it to be very rich, but really good.

I had this past August for lunch and it was very good! I wasn ot able to eat it all and yet I can eat alot.

DH had the tasty burger for lunch late Aug. 2011 and loved it for the third time running. I've enjoyed the burger once before and found it delicious, however nothing beats the mushroom filet, in my opinion.

The burger is absolutely delicious! That's why I wanted to make sure it was still there! I actually prefer it to the filet...but the filet is definitely good! Thanks everyone for letting me know my Christmas present will still be there haha! And I completely agree with the OP, I couldn't finish it last time either and I too have a BIG appetite!

I guess it's just me, but I think the burger they used to have at Le Cellier was one of the best anywhere in WDW, but I thought the newer version was little more than a pile of slop. Maybe that's typical of what you might get somewhere in Canada, but I doubt it. I'll go with counter service before going back to Le Cellier.

I read some time ago that they had reinstated the old burger. I always got the burger at lunch - it was delicious. Then in Oct10 I had the "new" burger (different roll, different cheese) and didn't care for it as much. A few months later there was a thread here about it and some other frequent eaters of the burger said the old burger was back (a couple people knew about the new burger and had the same opinion of it).

The burger is AMAZING but so filling! Mom and I split it in June and almost couldn't finish it because it was so huge. Then again, we did snack on the yummy pretzel bread a lot before the burger came...

For those who have had the burger recently, could you please describe it?

The original burger was a very good beef patty with cheese on a bun similar to an English muffin.

The last one I had, the patty wasn't as good, was covered in a maple sauce, sat on a bed of spinach leaves, was piled high with fried onions, and served on an oversized bun. To my simple mind, that's not a burger. It fell apart in my hands and I had to use a fork and knife to find the meat and eat it. I thought it was slop.

We're at Epcot frequently, but I haven't built up the courage to try Le Cellier again yet.

I don't know what the "new" burger is like, I've only had the old one, but I'm going to be ordering it on Dec 19th so I'll let you know...if you can wait till then

I'll be down there before then (and after), but have no plans on eating at Le Cellier so I would certainly appreciate a new review. Thanks!
