On our last night we have ADR's at Le Cellier at 5:55 for dinner and I just realized that is also one of only two nights that Spectro will be shown when we are there. What are the chances of us making it to Spectro in time?

I'm hoping if we hop on the monorail it shouldn't take too long - plus we're going in September so crowds shouldn't be too bad, right?!?! I'd love to catch Spectro for our last night!

MinnieMom,

I think that this would be pretty difficult to do, but it probably is possible. If you are seated on time and your meal goes farily quickly, you may be done at 7ish. Then, you will have to walk to the fron of the park and jump on the monorail. Also remember that you will have to switch monorails at the TTC in order to go to MK. Finally, you will have to get through security and the turnstiles at MK plsu find a spot to watch Spectro from.

It probably can be done, but I don't think it will be easy. If you really want to do both, I would keep calling and trying to get the earliest seating at LeCellier possible. This would give you a little more time.

Good Luck! :wizard:

I agree, I think its unlikely you will get seated at Le Cellier on time, only take an hour or so to get through a meal, get to the front of Epcot, take two monorails over to the MK, get through security, and find a spot to watch Spectro from - but its not impossible.

You could walk out the IG and catch a cab from the Y&BC - that would probably cut 30 minutes out of the process. Have them take you to the Contemporary or you are still a monorail ride away from the MK.

Eating at 1900 Park Fare for the first time I hope that I will enjoy it, maybe you would care to share, but my question is my ressie is at 6:05 will we make to Spectromagic on time(sept 4th) I do think that it starts at 9:00 but I am not sure it may start at 8:00. Will me and my little prince charming turn into pumpkins if we dont make it in time:)

1) To make it, you need to really hoof it and be really lucky.
2) Delay factors could EASILY come into play
. . . taking a few extra minutes at the podium to get into dinner
. . . waiting on service in the restaurant
. . . waiting for next monorail from Epcot
. . . waiting for next monorail from TTC
3) Just too many variables to plan on making the parade.

NOTE: Unfortunately, the parade starts at the front of MK. If it started in the back of the park, you would get an extra 20-minutes like the afternoon parade by the time it got the front of MK.

When in Sept. is your ressie. I have a 4:50 that I'm trying to trade for a later time on 9/16 for a party of 4.

I don't think so. Even if you get seated on time, I think it would take at least a half hour to eat, then half an hour to get to MK. The best case scenario puts you in MK at 7:30, and that's only if you rush through dinner, (which I wouldn't enjoy,) and then rush to MK. Even then, that would still be late to get a good seat for Spectro.

It will be really tight. But I think the only way it is doable is to get there a tad early (might get lucky being seated a few minutes early or at least on time). But when done, go right to the International Gateway, much closer then the front of EPCOT and head to beach club and get on thier bus to MK...will save a lot of time. But, it is a big meal, I dont know that I would want to rush like that. Good Luck!

For the effort one generally has to put forth to get a reservation at Le Cellier, I would not want to be rushed to get 'through' the meal and move on someplace else.

Its a meal that should be enjoyed.

I'd keep trying for an earlier time, or a different day, so you can really enjoy both without feeling stressed or rushed to do so.

if it starts at nine, you shouldn't have any problem. If you jump on the resort monorail at the GF, MK is the very next stop.

If it starts at eight, it may be a tight squeeze if you aren't seated right away or the charachters take a long time to get around to you. Since PF is a buffet you can decide the pace of your meal, it is just the charachter interatction that may take time.

This is fairly doable, though, IMO

From Epcot, I would have to say it is going to be too tight of a time frame if the Spectro starts at 8:00.

i agree- i wouldn't want to rush LC. if you make it, it will be tight and you might be rushing. the only time i've been seated to my LC ressie on time was when i went for lunch and was the first party of the day. every other time, they were running 20 min late minimum. so i wouldn't count on making spectro. too many factors to make you delayed.

I strongly doubt you will be able to make it. Even if you are seated immediately when you arrive, you'll have to eat very very quickly, then literally run to the exit of Epcot, and hope you'll make it over to MK in time and then hopefully, get a spot at the last minute.

I wouldn't want to rush Le Cellier anyway either. You may want to just watch Spectro next time.

You won't be able to just hop on the monorail. Once you finish dinner, you will have to walk through all of Future World to the front gate, ascend the monorail platform, and wait for the monorail. When it comes, the ride to MK is 13 minutes, I think. Then you will have to disembark the monorail, actually leave the monorail platform, then walk back up the platform on the other side and transfer to the MK monorail.

You could also exit Epcot through the International Gateway, walk to the Beach Club, and take a bus to MK. The problem with this is that there is no telling how long you will actually have to wait for the bus.

I'm going to say forget it. Who wants to wolf down that meal then run on a stomach full of expensive food to try to get to the parade? Try for an earlier seating, or make other arrangements.:earsboy:

I'll join the chorus and say it will be very hard to pull off. I was going to try and pull that off I'd be pretty stressed and dinner, and when I was trying to get to the MK, and I'd still be stressed even if I made it there on time.

Have a nice relaxing dinner, enjoy epcot that night, and catch illuminations. Try to see spectro on another night, or cancel the le cellier ADR and try for something in or around the MK.

Sorry OP, a little of subject.

I have ressies at The Wave in the Contemporary. Does the monorail that stops here go to the TTC or directly to MK? :confused3

Again, sorry for the hijack just thought since you were sorta on the topic of monorail time.

Thanks :goodvibes

The express monorail passes through the Contemporary on its way from TTC to MK but does not stop.

The resort monorail will stop at the Contemporary, then it will stop at the TTC, the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and then MK.

If you are in a hurry to get from the Contemporary to MK, the best way to do it is walk.

It should take about 10 minutes, 15 at the most. If you walk out the Contemporary past the bus stops, there is a path that will take you around the Contemporary parking lot and past the MK bus stops to the main MK plaza.
