I have DS 7 and DD 5...we were thinking of going to Le Cellier for dinner one night (if I can get ADRs), but am wondering if it's really OK for kids to be in there. My kids are pretty well behaved, but still kids. Are they welcome there, or is it too "fancy"? TIA!;)

Le Cellier is one of our favourites. We almost always dine there (kids are now 8 and 10--were probably 2 and 4 the first time we ate there). It is not kids themed, and is a nice place, but not prohibitive to the little ones at all. As long as they can generally behave themselves at an "adult" mael they will be just fine (oooh, and they get pretzle bread to munch on right away to curb their appitite--love the pretzle bread).

First off, I would think that ANY restaurantm ANYWHERE with a kids menu is welcoming children. No exceptions. Secondly, If your trip is next month, you may not have to worry about it anyway, as this is one of the most coveted ADR to get (I made ADR for my 5/31-6/8 vaca on 12/2 at 7AM) Sometimes, you need to put in the extra effort to get what you really want:confused3

we went there last year with a 3yo and 2- 4yo.. we had no problem with them..they enjoyed food and had great desserts for them:cheer2:

I realize that I may not be able to get the ADR to begin with...we already have all of our other ADRs, made months ago, but changed our mind on one of them and thought we'd try and get Le Cellier. I'm going to give it a shot...maybe there'd be a cancellation or something. Thanks all!

While we haven't been there yet, we are taking our 3 kids, ages 7, 6, and almost 3. I would think that just about every dining place in Disney should be somewhat kid friendly, some more than others, with the exception of a very very few.

We can't wait to go!

Absolutely give it a try. If you can't get in for dinner, you may consider asking about lunch. We have found it is pretty easy to get in for lucnh.

We dine there every trip with all of our children. We are normally at the park that day and wear shorts (like most people), not too fancy at all. It's Disney so kids are everywhere;)
