I just got back from a trip to WDW and I wanted to share a few of my dining experiences.

I ate at Le Cellier for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. I'd avoided it in the past because it's not known for its ability to cater to vegetarian tastes, and while its selection is indeed extremely limited, what is available is outstanding. I had the lentil, beet, and goat cheese dish - sounds unappetizing, doesn't it? Well, whatever they do to those beets, it's good enough that I couldn't get enough of them. The dish is unsuitable for vegans because of the goat cheese, alas. As far as I'm concerned, the vegetarians get the better deal at Le Cellier than the meat-eaters.

We also did the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian, which is a favorite of mine. I had the fruit and cheese platter, which was good, although the cheeses are somewhat pedestrian (gouda, pepperjack, smoked cheddar, and brie). Note to self: always, always order scones with clotted cream. It is divine.

In other news: food at the Animal Kingdom is still dismal, and nowhere on property can you get a Gardenburger instead of a Boca burger. (Except backstage, which doesn't count.) Boca burgers are fantastic for some people because they taste like meat, but I can't abide them for that very reason. I wish there were just one place on property where I could get a Gardenburger. Ah well.
