Booked in for lunch but now having second thoughts as to whether its worth 2 credits. If i did cancel where would you recomend ? Needs to be in epcot :thanks:

If you are specifically looking for a lunch, I would suggest looking at the menu for Spice Road Table. It's our favorite 1 TS meal in EP. Good food, nice atmosphere and great service. If you would like dinner and don't mind spending 2 credits and just walking out of EP via the IG, I would go to Flying Fish on the Boardwalk - it's SO good!

Le Cellier is definitely not worth 2 credits, it’s ok at best.

Restaurant Marrakesh was very good, as is the Yachtsman (although just outside of Epcot).

This one has a place of honor. The biggest rip off at Disney. And yes I gave it more than one opportunity. The only thing “signature”. about this place is the pricing. The food quality and service are very subpar. Save your money and your credits and eat someplace good. (I’d go with Chefs de France or Spice Road. But even a counter service will be better than this option)

It is signature because it is small, always sold out and had long wait to get in. Pure supply and demand. The minute it went signature was the minute we stopped going. Food wasn't worth it and I wasn't paying that much to sit a few inches from next table.

You got some good suggestions. We enjoy Spice Road, Marrakesh and Chef's Prixe Fixe is a good value. We enjoy the atmosphere and food at Biergarten along with some good beers ... it is unique and immersive with entertainment.

I really enjoy Le Cellier. I have never had a bad meal there. The prices are inflated, but I think it is worth two credits.if you choose to go elsewhere I always enjoy Rose & Crown. It’s a great setting.

I went within the first few days after the conversion. The menu that week was good--I had a great venison w/Brussels sprouts dish. But, it got dumbed down fairly quickly.

Now? It's a mediocre steak house, and any mid-sized city probably has its equal.

I alwasy felt teh same, it was mediocre at best, and I resented my one credit spent. My DSIL has requested that we give it another chance this trip, so I am hoping that we at least like it.

Unfortunately, still mediocre Nancy :(

I was afraid of that. I won't cancel because he never requests any meal, but I am not really looking forward to it. I am not complaining though becuase he is going to my choice, which was Minnie's Seasonal Dine at H&V! LOL!!!

Midsize city? . Probably any small town has something better

Not worth it in my opinion. I know you said Epcot, but Yachtsman Steakhouse is in the Yacht Club, a 10-minute walk from Epcot's World Showcase, and is excellent. It's 2 credits, too.

If you are looking for a good 2 credit Signature meal, either Flying Fish or Monsieur Paul at France if you want to change to a dinner.
If you want a different lunch option, Chefs de France, Spice Road Table, restaurant Marrakesh are good options. All 1 credit and IMHO better than Le Cellier (only because Le Cellier is now 2 credits).

We love Le Cellier! We have been to most of the other signatures, but Le Cellier is our favorite (all 4 adults agree). That said, we usually pay out of pocket with Tables in Wonderland or AP discount and save credits for other meals. I think I read somewhere that to get value out of the dining plan, TS credits should be used for meals over $35-40. So for 2 credit meals, the meal would need to be over $70-80, and I prefer to get the cheese soup or poutine with my meal at Le Cellier, neither of which is covered by the plan. So it makes more sense to pay for that meal OOP.

I second Spice Rd Table for lunch! Its usually pretty easy to get a table and there is seating inside in the ac or outside on the lake, which is still nice and breezy even in the hottest days! We usually just share a few of the small plates and always get the red sangria....I just LOVE that sangria :)! Its a nice light lunch and for our family of 4, the bill usually ends up under $100, so we will generally pay out of pocket here and save our credits for a splurge somewhere else ;)
