Switch it! Thirty-five minutes is not enough time. It's not worth the stress!
Even if your first flight departs on time, there could be unknown problems once you land. For example, there's no crew available to direct the plane in, or the jetways are busy and the pilot has to wait for the gate to become available. You could spend thirty-five minutes waiting to de-plane. These days, an hour might not be enough. If there is any way that you can avoid a connecting flight, do it! If not, allow at least seventy-five minutes.
My advice is based on problems I've had with connecting flights in the past. Recently, I had a problem with a connection in Dallas. I missed my flight, even with an hour layover... all because the first flight departed thirty minutes late.
